Students support Chinese library and the liberal arts mission

Since Summer of 2013, the Center for International and Intercultural Studies at St. Lawrence University has sent seven students to teach liberal arts courses at Sanmen Youwei Library in China, a rural library that provides literacy education for local children. Through the St. Lawrence University 'Projects for Peace', St. Lawrence students went back to the library again in 2016, and helped to build a SLU liberal arts education corner and support library facility at the Library. These St. Lawrence University students are engaged global citizens, spreading seeds of Liberal Arts Education in China.
