International House

The "I-House" is a place where international and American students can interact with one another to share their experiences and learn about new cultures. At I-House, we have many interesting hall activities. Every month we organize and sponsor various campus-wide events, plan off-campus trips, and share our cultural experiences with each other, as well as with the St. Lawrence community.

The International House is connected with the Intercultural House. A full-sized kitchen and lounge are part of the shared space.

Purposes of SLU International House

Residence Requirements

Tracy and Kanti Any sophomore, junior or senior can live in I-House. To be part of this magical housing mosaic, a student must submit a housing request by the Residential Life Office deadline. Selection is based on the information provided by the applicant. Once selected, each resident must be actively involved in at least one major International House activity -- helping with planning, cooking, Theme Night activities, publicity, or clean up. All I-House activities are open to the campus community. You don't have to live in I-House to participate.

Student Coordinators

Feel free to contact the student coordinators of I-House -- Tracy Masinde and Kanti Shrestha -- with any questions you have about I-House activities.
