Cost, Financial Aid, and Insurance
Cost
Students going to Fisk University pay the St. Lawrence University comprehensive
fee. Any financial aid is automatically applied. This cost includes tuition,
room and board. It does not include transportation to the program, health insurance,
books or personal expenses.
A non-refundable first payment of $500 is to be made upon acceptance. If a student
thinks this deposit amount should be waived or reduced because of financial
hardship, he/she should talk with the Financial Aid Office. The remaining sum
must be paid upon receipt of bills from St. Lawrence University. Participants
in the program will have incurred responsibility for the full cost once they
have formally accepted enrollment. Refunds will be made in accordance with the
policy outlined in the St. Lawrence catalogue, minus any money that has been
paid out on behalf of the student.
Financial Aid
The Fisk Program is considered a regular St. Lawrence Program; therefore, financial
aid for St. Lawrence students is automatically applied.
Insurance
All students are required to have accident and sickness insurance. The St.
Lawrence University Accident and Sickness Insurance offers the same benefits
that a St. Lawrence student would receive on campus.
