Students planning to study abroad should meet with their advisors well in
advance in order to plan a tentative program of study for the period abroad
and, as far as possible, the remainder of the student's undergraduate career.
It is important to note that some departments limit the number of courses
that may be taken off campus in fulfillment of major requirements. Consultation
with the department chair of the student's major is recommended. The program
director and/or the accompanying FYP advisor provide specific advisement while
the student is abroad as well as any necessary liaison with the home campus.
