The decision to study off-campus is an important one for any student. It is one of the best ways for students to develop independence, self-confidence, poise and maturity. In fact, this process may have already begun. It is important to understand that development will not magically happen simply by going off-campus. It is entirely up to the student to take ownership and initiative.
