Peterborough, with a population of approximately 80,000, has a thriving arts and music scene, and is known for its annual September Downtown Jazz festival, as well as for the multicultural “Bistro” district where students can find Greek, Belgian, Indian, Japanese and Mexican restaurants.
Students may take any subject offered at Trent University, as long as the student is qualified and the subject receives prior approval by the appropriate SLU department chair and by the appropriate Trent faculty person.
You can view courses by department on the Trent website. You must meet all course pre-requisites to be eligible to enroll.
Students studying at Trent can take advantage of a multitude of co-curricular offerings at the University including the Trent International Students Association, club and intramural sports, and other clubs and organizations.
Students will live in on-campus residential colleges. Residential colleges are more than residence halls, they are social and intellectual communities. Trent colleges combine student housing, programming, classrooms and faculty offices—modeled after the Oxford University residential college system.
The Trent University Calendar is available here. (The semester calendar can be found in the appropriate .pdf).
