When I first arrived at St. Lawrence, I knew I wanted to pursue a major in chemistry because of the passion I had for it throughout high school.  In my time here, I have realized the unique amount of support that St. Lawrence’s chemistry department’s professors and students share as a close-knit group with similar interests.  This year, I am working on my Senior Research Project with Dr. Adam Hill working on the synthesis of heterobimetallic molecules using air-free techniques.  Our project relies on the use of schlenk line technique as well as the use of the glove box.

Outside of the lab, I enjoy swing dancing and participating in the dance showcases each semester as well as serving on two executive boards for Greek Life at SLU. After college, I hope to attend pharmacy school and work in a compounding pharmacy where my knowledge of air-free technique may play a part in the mixing and synthesis of medications.
