Students present research at family weekend
Friday, October 1, 2010.
Chemistry majors presented their research as part of family weekend.
Over the summer, several students were awarded fellowships to work on faculty-mentored research projects. A wide range of topics were explored: pharmaceutical synthesis, solar cell development, analysis of medicinally relevant compounds in plants, determination of heavy metal content in cosmetics, among others. These students recently had the opportunity to showcase their projects at family weekend.
