Community Mentor Placement

The Center for Civic Engagement is excited to offer a student leadership opportunity to incoming First Year students by serving as a community placement site for students enrolled in FRPG 187O, Reiff College: The Creative Experience of Leadership: What Makes a Leader.  Students selected for this opportunity will join the Community Mentor team and participate in leadership and professional development throughout the fall semester.  Students will be required to participate in a weekly staff meeting on Tuesdays from 11:45am-12:30pm (lunch provided but charged to student meal plan), a professional development workshop on Sunday, September 15th from 11am-2pm, as well as other workshops TBD, and assist with Shawna’s Walk for Wishes.  For more information about the Community Mentor Program, please visit:
