Amelia Erdem '10

"To me, being a CM is about going beyond the theoretical analysis of problems and doing something about them, using what I've learned at St. Lawrence to, not only give back to the community myself, but also to get others excited about civic engagement.  Building relationships between SLU, the community and myself is also an important part of being a CM and I owe many of my current friendships to my role as a community mentor."

Amelia acts as the CM for the Akwesasne FYS: Native American Children and Youth.
