Bringing Theory to Practice

The Brining Theory to Practice Initiative is a American Association of Colleges and Universities (AACU) project. The Center for Civic Engagement and Leadership (CCEL) was chosen as a "demonstration site" where SLU will develop and evaluate new strategies to link engaged learning, student health, and civic engagement. Beginning in August of 2005, the CCEL received grant funding from AACU:BTP to support research that will provide evidence for the need of such strategies.
