Provides an on-the-job training program
designed to give talented management candidates broad, practical training
in various areas of orchestra management and administration. Fellows
should expect to be employed by a U.S. Orchestra upon completion of
the program. $15,000 stipend, plus travel, and some relocation costs.

The Institution's Summer Schools of Music,
Dance, and Theater offer seven-to eight-week programs designed for talented
high school, college, and graduate students between the ages of 15-25.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and financial need.

Fellowships are awarded to individual creative
artists in the following categories: architecture, choreography, crafts,
fiction, film, inter- arts/performance art, music composition, nonfiction
literature, painting, playwriting/screenwriting, photography, poetry,
printmaking/drawing/artists' books, sculpture, and video. Fellowship
awards are $7,000 each.
ELIGIBILITY: Applicants
must be over 18 years of age and must be residents of New York State.
Public service is also a component of the Artists' Fellowships. Students
matriculated in full-time degree programs are ineligible to apply for
these fellowships.
