One year museum education fellowship
for the academic year. This fellowship is designed to foster personal
and professional growth for the student considering a museum education
career. The Fellow will receive on-the-job training in all areas of the
department's programs serving all ages of the public. Funded by the Women's
Board of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Fellowship extends from October
1 -Sept. 1, and includes salary plus benefits.
Current or recent graduate students
(degree received no earlier than 1996) with an M.A (or extensive coursework
toward M.A. or Ph.D.), and a concentration in art history at the undergraduate
or graduate level. Fluency in a foreign language, writing experience,
teaching, or studio art background preferred.
