Career SLUth Transition
Career Services has recently purchased a new platform to house job and internship postings, the mentoring database, and student career-related documents to replace Career SLUth.
After June 30, YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO ACCESS DOCUMENTS SAVED IN CAREER SLUth. If you do not have another electronic copy of your documents, please see below for instructions on how to retrieve them from the Career SLUth system.
You will be able to use the current Career SLUth system until June 30, but after May 31, any profile information you update will not be transferred to the new system.
If you have any questions, please contact Career Services, Student Center 202, at 229-5906.
To save your current Career SLUth documents:
-
Log in to the Career SLUth system
- Your username is your St. Lawrence University e-mail before the "@" sign, password is your CMR
-
Download your documents
- Click on Documents and select "Your Resumes". Open the document(s). Save the document to your desired location. It will only save as a PDF.
- If you uploaded your document before September 24, 2007 and Career SLUth is the ONLY place you have it saved, you can e-mail careers@stlawu.edu and we can download the original file for you in Microsoft Word or Rich Text Format. Please do this only if Career SLUth is the only place your document is saved.
-
REPEAT this step for all of your documents (go to "Your Cover Letters", "Your Writing Samples", and "Your Other Documents")
You might also choose to print copies of all documents. Remember – when we switch to the new system, it is always wise to have your documents saved multiple places and to not just rely on the system to house your only copy.
If you have any questions, please contact Career Services at (315) 229-5906.
