Global account management head of several multinational
accounts including: Novartis, Panasonic, and the American Egg

get your first job in this field?
Getting in the door. Tough business to break into.

advice would you give to students interested in working in your
field?
Read the trades. Get on the websites of the trades.
Get on the websites of the agencies that you want to interview
with. Know their craft, personality, their work.
What
are some of the activities you were involved in while at SLU?
SAE frat member. Sociology major and government minor.
Advertising is about knowing something about everything. It is
a liberal arts career. Go abroad. Experience life. Get involved
with things you know, and things give you new experiences.
How
can students best prepare themselves while at SLU?

In retrospect, is there anything
you would have done differently with regard to your career?
Don’t be afraid to take chances. Enter a
savings plan early.
What are your future plans?
Retire young. Consult.
