LINC First Year Application

Congratulations on being invited to apply for the LINC program!  Before applying to the LINC program, please read the brochure describing the program.  Student participants in the program will be ambassadors to alumni as well as benefiting from the mentoring relationship.  This can be an incredibly rewarding experience for students, but it is essential that you will have the time and commitment to prepare for your interactions with your mentor and to maintain the relationship with your mentor over the course of the year.  All students selected to the program will attend an orientation session, create or update their resume, and attend workshops on informational interviewing, networking, and professional eitquette in the fall in preparation for meetings with their mentor. Please complete both parts of the application by Friday, July 17.  If you have any issues, please contact Career Services at 315-229-5906 or email careers@stlawu.edu.  You will be notified in August about selection to the program.

Step 1: Complete form below.

Step 2: Visit Interview Stream and set-up an account using your new SLU email address.  Once on the home page, select "Conduct an Interview," then select "Created for Me" and finally select the "LINC Mentor Program" interview. Record your responses and save interview no later than July 17.

Please indicate your general areas of career interest. Please think broadly about the categories (for example, if you are interested in marketing, that would fall under business or media.)
Please list three (3) things that you enjoy in your free time.
Please briefly share why you are interested in this program and what you hope to gain from the mentoring relationship.
Please provide a brief description of your current career goals, in other words, what you are currently hoping to do after you graduate from St. Lawrence. We understand that you might not be completely sure at this time, but please indicate the direction(s) you are currently considering. This statement will be shared with your mentor so they can learn more about your interests and the career direction in which you are currently interested.
