Fall Grants Workshop Series: International Programs and Projects

Each year the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations/Sponsored Research hosts a workshop by McAllister and Quinn, a grant consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. This year, Dr. Sally A. White and Ms. Marianne Jordan will present on how to obtain funding for International programs and projects. Their presentation will highlight instances of funding from the National Science Foundation, Department of Education, and National Endowment for the Humanities, among other sources.

Lunch will be provided. 

Fall Grants Workshop Series: National Endowment for the Humanities Grant Programs and Hints for Proposals

This fall the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations/Sponsored Research will host a series of workshops featuring virtual presentations by representatives from federal agencies on topics such as available funding opportunities, preparing successful proposals, and managing grant awards. 

Solar Eclipse Observing

Come view the solar eclipse on August 21st! The partial eclipse will start at 1:19 pm, maximum coverage (63%, as viewed from SLU) will occur at 2:37 pm, and the partial eclipse will end just before 4:00 pm. Eclipse glasses will be available, and I'll have solar-safe telescopes and binoculars available for viewing in front of the Sullivan Student Center. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the show! Drop-In Advising with Donald Asher

Are you currently in the process of applying to graduate school and would like feedback on your application materials?

Donald Asher, graduate school guru, will be on campus September 8-9 and is willing to meet with students to review a copy of their personal statement for graduate school, medical school, and/or law school. He will review your material and provide constructive feedback to make you a more competitive applicant.
