Workshop: "Authoring Media-rich Scholarship with Scalar"

Jentery Sayers is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Victoria, with research interests in comparative media studies, digital humanities, Anglo-American modernism, computers and composition, and teaching with technologies. This workshop on Scalar is part of a two-day visit to St. Lawrence University February 27-28, 2014. Read more about Sayers and his work here.


Guest Costume Designer Clyde Ruffin Presents

Join us Wednesday, September 18th at 8:00 p.m. in NC 109 for a career talk led by Prof. Clyde Ruffin. Prof Ruffin is the guest costume designer for PCA's fall production of Iphigenia and Other Daughters, and will be in residence September 17-21 to work with PCA faculty, staff, and students. Prof. Ruffin is a Full Professor of Theatre at the University of Missouri-Columbia and maintains a parallel career as a professional actor, director, and designer; see below for his full bio. Refreshments will be served in the Ireland Green Room following the presentation. 

La MaMa Umbria International Symposium for Directors: A Teaching Demonstration by Prof. Matt Saltzberg

In this lecture/workshop, Prof. Saltzberg will discuss his experiences in Italy this summer at the international directing workshop sponsored by La MaMa E.T.C., a renowned Off-Off-Broadway theatre, where he worked with, among others, Academy Award-winner Estelle Parsons and acclaimed avant-garde director Ping Chong. All are welcome!!!
