We are pleased to welcome renowned South African human rights activist Sizani Ngubane to campus for a public talk on Monday March 26th at 7pm in Dean Eaton Formal Lounge. With roots in the anti-apartheid struggle, Ngubane founded the Rural Women's Movement in 1994 and has worked for more than 20 years to advocate for gender equity and human rights issues in South Africa.

Charlie Bour '05, winner of the 2017 St. Lawrence University Spanish Teacher Fellowship, will give a lecture on campus about his research project, entitled "Money grows on trees: Costa Rica", on February 5th at the Dean Eaton Formal Lounge from 4:00 to 5:00. Refreshments will be served.
Charlie Bour ‘05, visited the south western coastal area of Uvita, Costa Rica, to explore the state of sustainability as it relates to both natural habitats and socio-economic development in this specific zone of Costa Rica.
