2016 Sustainability Semester Info Session

Are you curious about environmental, social and economic sustainability? Do you want to explore career options within this field? Do you want to try a hand at woodworking, food preservation or solar installation all while living in a farmhouse on 33 acres of land with a small community of students with similar values?

If so, the Sustainability Semester just might be for you!  Find out at the info session where staff will give a brief presentation about the program and Sustainability Semester alumni from previous semesters will be there to chat.

Carnegie 10 International Film Series - Gui tu lie che (Last train home)(2009)

In honor of the diversity of films from around the world and in homage to the indispensable Cinema 10 series of Potsdam, the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures & the Language Resource Center are pleased to announce their selection for the fall semester at Carnegie 10:

Gui tu lie che (Last train home)

A couple embarks on a journey home for Chinese new year along with 130 million other migrant workers, to reunite with their children and struggle for a future. Their unseen story plays out as China soars towards being a world superpower.
