EDUCATIONAL & INSTITUTIONAL COOPERATIVE SERVICE (E and I)
The university is a member of the Educational and Institutional Cooperative Service, Inc (E&I),
a not for profit buying cooperative created to provide goods and services to members at the best
possible value. The Cooperative is owned by its membership of more than 1600 colleges,
universities, K-12 schools, hospitals, medical research institutions and hospital purchasing
organizations located throughout the U.S.
University employees responsible for making purchases should review the contracts for goods
and services available to cooperative members when making purchases to ensure purchases are
made at the lowest cost available to the university. Information on the contracts and how to
obtain the discounts are available at https://www.eandi.org. First time users will need to request
a login ID and password and may do this by entering some basic information to the site such as
name, address, institution name, and email address.
