Nature and animals have always been passions of mine, and in just two short years here at St. Lawrence, I have been able to pursue these passions both academically, through classes such as Ecology, and extracurricularly, though the riding team and other campus clubs. I was able to conduct my own research on animal behavior for a Research Methods Training class, in which I studied how classical music reduces stress behavior in horses as well as the predatory behavior of praying mantids. I plan to continue doing research here at St. Lawrence as well as in graduate school later down the road.
