Teaching and Learning with Technology Proposals

Proposals are accepted on an ongoing basis, and reviewed by IT staff and a subset of the Educational Technologies Committee. Proposals must be submitted electronically and include the following:

Course/project overview, including course/project title and semester taught/implemented (150 words or less)
Outline of technology used in the course/project
One or more key learning objectives for course/project (200 words or less)
Summary of outcomes, intended or unintended, from course/project (500 words or less)

Upon approval, faculty will receive dedicated network storage space and instructions for submitting supplemental materials (e.g. syllabus, data, student feedback, and especially examples of student work), which are highly recommended to round out the presentation. Information Technology staff will make arrangements to interview and capture digital video and/or still imagery of classroom or lab activities. Faculty will have opportunity to review and edit written narrative prior to web publication.

Faculty may submit all of the above for consideration to Sondra Smith, Co-CIO; Director of Educational Technologies, or contact same for more information.
