No. 8 Fords Top Saints in Opener, 7-4

Mar. 5: The St. Lawrence University men's lacrosse team opened its 2011 season on Saturday afternoon in Cortland, NY against nationally-ranked No. 8 Haverford.  The Fords were able to protect a three-goal cushion after a solid first quarter, defeating the Saints by the score of 7-4.

2012:  Gerhardt once again played in three games in 2012, including Messiah, Cazenovia and RIT.  He added one ground ball against Cazenoiva.

Gerhardt appeared in three games for the Saints in his rookie season, scooping up two ground balls and causing a turnover. 

At Fayetteville-Manlius
Gerhardt was a dual-sport athlete, competing for both the Lacrosse and Soccer teams.  The Manlius, NY native was also the recipient of the school's Dedication to Learning Award.

Saints Open 2011 Season on Saturday against No. 8 Fords

Mar. 3: The St. Lawrence University men's lacrosse team will open the 2011 season on Saturday against No. 8 Haverford College in Cortland, NY.  The nationally-ranked Fords enter the game with a 2-1 record and present the Scarlet and Brown with a challenging opponent to begin the campaign.

2012:  Fowler had a breakout season as a sophomore, leading the Saints with 21 goals and finishing second on the team with 29 points.  The Grosse Pointe Farms, MI native was a Second Team All-Conference selection after finishing tied for third in the conference in game-winning goals.  Fowler, who started all 15 games for the Scarlet and Brown, chipped in seven ground balls and a caused turnover.

2011: 
Fowler played in all 14 games for the Saints in his rookie season, scoring two goals and assisting on another.  The Grosse Pointe Farms, MI native scooped up nine ground balls and caused two turnovers. 

At The Hotchkiss School

Fowler was a dual-sport athlete, competing in Lacrosse and Hockey. The Grosse Pointe Farms, MI native earned First Team All-New England honors for lacrosse in his senior year following a Founders League Championship as a junior.

2012:  Woolard came off the bench in three games as a sophomore, including Geneseo State, Plattsburgh State and Cazenovia.  The Wilton, CT native chipped in a pair of ground balls against the Wildcats.

Woolard appeared in one game as a rookie where he caused a turnover. 

At Wilton

Woolard was an outstanding student-athlete, participating on the Lacrosse, Soccer and Wrestling teams while earning a spot on the Honor Roll. The Wilton, CT native, who was given the JACK Award for his academics, was also a two-time All-Conference honoree and landed a spot on the Connecticut Senior All-Star team.

2012: Holcombe continued to see consistent playing time as a sophomore.  He played in 11 games while adding eight ground balls and a caused turnover.

2011: 
Holcombe appeared in 10 games in his rookie season, where he scored a goal and assisted on another.  The Baldwin, NY native also scooped up 10 ground balls and caused two turnovers.

At Baldwin

Holcombe was a tri-sport athlete, captaining the Football, Lacrosse and Track and Field teams. The Baldwin, NY native earned All-County and All-Long Island Honorable Mention status on the gridiron, and rushed for over 1,000 yards while totaling eight touchdowns in his senior season.

2012: Sloan again played in five contests in his sophomore year, but added three goals and an assist in 2012.  He scored a goal against New England College and two against Cazenovia.

Sloan appeared in five games where he assisted on a goal and scooped up a ground ball.

At The Hill Academy

Sloan was a dual-sport athlete, participating in Lacrosse and Hockey. A former captain of the Mississauga Tomahawks of the OLA Jr. A team, he earned Dean's List honors in his senior year.

At Woodstock Union

Robinson was a tri-sport athlete, competing for the Lacrosse, Football and Hockey teams. A member of the National Honor Society and an Honor Roll student, Josh captained each of those teams during his senior year. Robinson earned All-State honors for lacrosse and football as well as the MVP award for each squad in 2009-10.

Davis was a stand-out student-athlete, as he was named the Most Valuable Player of the Lacrosse team in 2010. The Milton, ON native was also the recipient of the Knights of Columbus Leadership Award as well as the Principal's Award.
