Bouthot Leads Saint Men in 15-Team SLU Invitational

St. John Fisher College shot back-to-back scores of 293 to take a three-stroke win over Waterloo of Canada in the annual St. Lawrence University Collegiate Invitational on the St. Lawrence golf course Sunday afternoon.

2011-12: John shot 93 in his lone collegiate tournament appearance in the Utica Spring Invitational.


John played water polo, squash and golf at Suffield Academy and was the MVP in squash in 2011, water polor in the fall of 1010 and earned the outstanding golfer award in the spring of 2009. He was an honor roll student.

2012-13: Matt shot his low collegiate round in the weather-shortened SLU Invitational with an 81. He studied abroad in the spring portion of the year.

2011-12: Matt played five rounds for the Saints in his first season on the team and had a collegiate low of 82 in his first outing, the North Country Challenge. He finished the season with an 88.2 stroke average.

Matt joins the golf team as a sophomore. He was captain of the football, swim and baseball teams, an all star in football and swimming and the MVP quarterback of the football team. He was an honor roll student in high school.

2011-12: Mike had a solid rookie season with a stroke average of 81.9 in 13 tournament rounds. He shot his collegiate low with a 75 in the second round of the Palomountain Invitational.

Michael played golf, football and hockey at Saranac Lake and was a New York State Scholar-Athlete, earning honor roll every quarter throughout high school. He was three time all league and a two-time red letter winner for golf and was an all league quarterback in football.

2011-12: Brady played 10 rounds for the Saints and compiled a 82.5 stroke average. He had three rounds in the 70s with a collegiate low of 78 in the North Country Triangular.


Brady was captain of the golf and ski teams at Ridgefield High and was an all state ski racer and all conference golfer.

2012-13: Brandon trimmed nearly seven strokes off his rookie scoring average, finishing the year with a 74.4 stroke average in 15 rounds. He finished third in the SLU Invitational with a collegiate low of 72 and matched that score in a round in Arizona. He had a seventh in the Middlebury Invitational and four top 20s in his rookie season. He was a Liberty League All Academic selection.

2011-12: Brandon was second on the team in competitive rounds played with 18 and showed solid improvement throughout his rookie season. He had a collegiate low of 77, shooting that score three times, and had six rounds in the 70s. His top finish was a tie for third in the Utica Invitational.

An honor roll student, Brandon was MVP of his golf team as a junior.

2011-12: Jack was the Saint rookie of the year after posting a stroke average of 80.05 in 20 tournament rounds. He twice shot his collegiate low of 75 and had 11 rounds in the 70s. He led the Saints at the Liberty League qualifier with a 15th place finish and was sixth in the North Country Triangular, at Utica and at Nazareth.

Jack played golf, hockey and baseball at Pembroke and was a two-year captain, three-time Patriot League All Star for a team which was sectional champion and state runner up. He was a member of the National Honor Society.

Saints Edge Clarkson in North Country Tri-Match

Jeff Duggan shot rounds of 77 and 76 and rookie Jack Reardon shot 77 and 78 to lead St. Lawrence University's men's golf team to a two-stroke victory over Clarkson in a tri-team meet among the North Country rivals played at the St. Lawrence University Golf Course and the Potsdam Country Club Saturday and Sunday.

Harris Leads Saint Golfers at Oswego

Sophomore John Harris tied for ninth with rounds of 76 and 82 as St. Lawrence University's men's golf team completed its season with a fourth place finish in the eight-team Oswego Spring Invitational on Sunday.

Bouthot Leads Saints at Delhi Invitational

Junior Adrian Bouthot shot a five-over 77, finishing tied for fourth as St. Lawrence University's men's golf team finished third in the SUNY-Delhi Spring Invitational in Delhi on Sunday.
