John Muldowney

John Muldowney joined the St. Lawrence University football coaching staff as a volunteer in the summer of 2011.

Coach Muldowney will serve as the tight ends coach for the upcoming season. He is a 1981 graduate of Princeton University, where he played defensive back for the Tigers. He coached football for 16 years at Saranac Lake High School, where he worked with quarterbacks, receivers and defensive backs.

Muldowney is also a graduate of Albany Law School and is a practicing trial attorney and managing partner of Fischer, Bessette, Muldowney & Hunter, LLP. John and his wife, Sally, reside in Saranac Lake and have four children.

Saunders named Pre-Season North All-America

Aug. 1: St. Lawrence University's Trevor Saunders '12 has been named a Pre-Season North Second Team All-America selection.

July 21: St. Lawrence University wide receiver Ethan Sutton '12, who was recently named a captain for the upcoming 2011 season, was featured on D3Football.com.

Gerard Bryant ’10 Selected to U.S. Men’s National Football Team

June 27: Former St. Lawrence University First Team All-America Gerard Bryant '10 has been selected to the United States' football team for the fourth Eight-Nation World Championship in Austria this July 8-16.

Four Seniors to Captain Saints in 2011

June 15: St. Lawrence University head football coach Mark Raymond has announced that four seniors, Ethan Sutton, Marcus Washington, Trevor Saunders and Doug Geraghty, will captain the defending Liberty League champions in the 2011 campaign.

Saunders, Hoffman Recognized for Achievements

Feb. 14: St. Lawrence University football players Trevor Saunders and Shane Hoffman were each recognized recently for individual accomplishments.  Saunders was named a 2010 ECAC North All-Star, while Hoffman was honored by the National Football Foundation for his academic achievements.

Kyle McAllister Named Assistant Coach for 2011 Season

Feb. 7: St. Lawrence University head football coach Mark Raymond has hired another new addition to the Saints' coaching staff for the 2011 season.  Kyle McAllister, a Bates College graduate, comes to Canton, NY after serving as an assistant coach at Georgetown University.

Greg Hadley

Greg Hadley, a former defensive standout at Colgate University, joined the St. Lawrence University football coaching staff in February of 2011.  He will serve as the Saints' co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach in the fall of 2012.

Hadley arrived in Canton, NY after a one-year stint as a defensive assistant at the University of Rhode Island.  He coached the cornerbacks throughout the season, assisted with special teams and was responsible for all in-season film breakdown. He will serve as the linebackers coach at St. Lawrence and is a certified strength and conditioning coach (BFS) after working as an intern under Colgate's Gabe Harrinton and Syracuse University's Corey Parker.  He is also certified in CPR, First Aid and AED.

During his four-year career with the Raiders, he played 40 games and earned four varsity letters.  As a senior in 2009, the Fayetteville, NY native recorded 67 tackles en route to being named to the All-Patriot League team for the second-consecutive season. In 2008 as a junior, he led the team in tackles with 80.

Prior to his career at Colgate, Hadley started at Christian Brothers Academy. As a senior he recorded 147 tackles and totaled nine quarterback sacks. In 2005, he helped his squad to an 11-1 mark and a Class AA State Championship.

Bryant ’10 on D3Football.com’s All-Decade Team

Jan. 19: Former St. Lawrence University standout defensive lineman Gerard Bryant '10 was named to D3Football.com's "All-Decade Team" for his efforts on the gridiron from 2006-2009.
