Saunders, Washington Compete at 2012 Senior All-Star Game

Jan. 26: Seniors Trevor Saunders and Marcus Washington were each selected to represent St. Lawrence University at the 2012 Hansen Senior Bowl, the Small College All-Star game, on January 16 in Virginia Beach, VA.

Dec. 1: Dave Jennings, St. Lawrence University Class of 1974, the most prolific punter in New York Giants history, will be inducted into the pro football team's Ring of Honor December 4 at MetLife Stadium, when "Big Blue" takes on the Green Bay Packers.

Four Captains Earn First Team All-Conference

Nov. 16: The four senior captains of the St. Lawrence University football team was each named First Team All-Liberty League on Wednesday, as the Saints finished with a total of 10 All-Conference players.

Seniors Lift Saints in 21-14 Victory Over WPI

Nov. 12: The St. Lawrence University football team won its 2011 season finale by the score of 21-14 over WPI in Worcester, MA.  The team's seniors carried the load on Saturday, as co-captain Marcus Washington had 187 yards and two touchdowns rushing to go over 1,000 yards on the season while Phil Hamilton and Trevor Saunders anchored the defense.

Washington, Saunders Chosen to D-III Senior Classic

Nov. 11: St. Lawrence University senior co-captains Marcus Washington and Trevor Saunders have each been selected to play in the 2011 Senior Classic, featuring the premier talent in all of Division III college football, on December 9 at Salem Stadium in Salem, VA.

Rochester Rallies Late to Top Saints on “Senior Day”

Nov. 5: The University of Rochester football team scored 13 unanswered points in the fourth quarter on Saturday, propelling the Yellowjackets' comeback in a 16-13 win over St. Lawrence University on "Senior Day" in Canton, NY. 

Engineers’ Defense Leads RPI Past Saints, 14-7

Oct. 22: The St. Lawrence University football team dropped a Liberty League contest to Rensselaer on Saturday by the score of 14-7 at East Campus Stadium in Troy, NY. 

Dutchmen Strike Late, Fend Off Saints 10-6

Oct. 15: The St. Lawrence University football team dropped a tough Liberty League contest on Saturday afternoon to Union College by the score of 10-6 at a soggy Leckonby Stadium.  The Dutchmen scored the game-winning touchdown with 3:12 left in regulation, and their defense made a stop in the red zone in the final minute to secure the road victory.

Hobart Defense Shuts Down Saints, 23-0

Oct. 1: The St. Lawrence University football team lost its first Liberty League game of the season on Saturday, as the Hobart College defense shutout the Scarlet and Brown en route to a 23-0 win in Geneva, NY.  Senior co-captain Marcus Washington led St. Lawrence with 81 yards on 20 carries, while senior Ramon Mignott and sophomore Andrew Cox each had a game-high 11 tackles.
