Saints Ranked No. 3 in Regional Pre-Season Poll

Aug. 26: The St. Lawrence University men's cross country team enters the 2010 season as the No. 3 team in the Atlantic Region according to the pre-season poll released on Wednesday.  The Saints, who were 11th overall at the 2009 NCAA Championships, follow NYU and Geneseo State in this year's pre-season rankings.

Ramsey and Funch will Captain Saints in 2010

July 23: St. Lawrence University men's cross country coach John Newman has announced that seniors Dan Ramsey and Chris Funch will serve as the Saints' captains for the 2010 season.

Three Individuals, Team Earn USTFCCCA Academic Honors

Mar. 25: The United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced its academic honorees for the 2009 cross country season.  The St. Lawrence University men's squad earned team scholar honors, while senior Jacob Malcomb and juniors Dan Ramsey and Jeremy Mwenda each earned individual All-Academic awards.

Ramsey, Rakoc and Coach Newman Honored by Liberty League

Dec. 1: The St. Lawrence University men's cross country team was well-represented in the Liberty League's yearly award winners for 2009.  Junior Dan Ramsey, first-year student Sam Rakoc and head coach John Newman each earned recognition for their accomplishments this season.

Ramsey Finishes Fourth, Saints 11th Overall at NCAA Championship

Nov. 21: St. Lawrence University junior Dan Ramsey earned his first collegiate All-America honors on Saturday at the 2009 NCAA Division III Cross Country championship race in Cleveland, OH.  The Essex Junction, VT native raced the Highland Park Golf Course in 25:35 to finish in 4th place overall out of 276 competitors, pacing the men's cross country team to 11th overall out of 32 teams.

Veteran Squad Looks to Improve at 2009 NCAA Championships

Nov. 19:  The St. Lawrence University men's cross country team will be competing in the program's 13th NCAA Championship race at the Highland Park Golf Course in Cleveland, OH.  The Saints' veteran roster will look to improve on its 17th place finish in 2008 when the gun fires at noon on Saturday.

Saints Earn At-Large Bid into 2009 NCAA Championship

Nov. 15: For the second consecutive year, the nationally-ranked St. Lawrence University men's cross country team earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Championship race.  The Saints will compete at next weekend's national event hosted by Baldwin-Wallace in Cleveland, OH.

Ramsey Paces Saints to Fifth Place at 2009 Atlantic Regional

Nov. 14: St. Lawrence University junior captain Dan Ramsey finished in 5th position overall on Saturday at the 2009 NCAA Atlantic Regional race at Letchworth State Park.  The Essex Junction, VT native's finish led the Saints to fifth in the team standings as well, as the Scarlet and Brown are officially eligible for an at-large bid into next weekend's NCAA Championship race.

Ramsey, Nationally-Ranked Saints Ready for 2009 NCAA Regional Race

Nov. 11: The St. Lawrence University men's cross country team, ranked 17th in the latest national polls, will be back in action this weekend as the Saints compete in the 2009 NCAA Atlantic Regional race at Letchworth State Park.  The Saints, led by junior captain Dan Ramsey, enter the event ranked 4th in a stacked region that includes three of the top-10 teams in the country.
