Galowski rowed during his high school career, captaining the team his senior year. An honor roll student, he also won the Boys Crew Award.

Kyle Dowd

Kyle Dowd, a four-year rower for Purdue University, joined the Saints staff in the fall of 2012 as an assistant coach for the crew program. 

Prior to coming to St. Lawrence, Kyle served as an assistant rowing coach at Nereid Boat Club and Montclair High School, and was the head lifeguard at the Montclair Department of Recreation. 

A 2012 graduate, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in history with honors and minored in political science. 

Saints Win Liberty League’s Novice 8 Crew of the Year Award

June 11: The Liberty League has announced its annual award winners for men's crew, and St. Lawrence University's Novice 8 won the Novice 8 Crew of the Year Award for 2012.

Novice 8 Second at NYS Championships

May 7: The St. Lawrence University men's crew concluded two days of competition at the New York State Championships Sunday, highlighted by a second-place finish by the novice 8.

Novice 8, Varsity 4 Win at Liberty League Championships

April 30:  The St. Lawrence University men's crew team had a solid showing at the Liberty League Championships on Saturday in Saratoga Springs, NY.  Highlighting the day were first place finishes in the Novice 8+ and Varsity 4+ events. 

Saints Compete Against Hamilton

April 23: The St. Lawrence University men's crew team was swept by Hamilton College in a dual race on the St. Lawrence River on Saturday.

Novice Edge Bombers for Gold at Ithaca

April 15: The St. Lawrence University men's crew team competed against Ithaca College and Skidmore College on the Cayuga Inlet on Saturday in Ithaca, NY. The Novice 8+ highlighted the day as it remained undefeated by edging out the Bombers for the gold medal.

Talon Lomahquahu '15

Proctor Academy

2011-12:  Lomahquahu was a member of the Novice 8 that won the Liberty League Championship and finished second in the NYS Championships to Marist.  The Saints earned conference Novice 8 Crew of the Year honors. 

At Proctor:  Lomahquahu was a multi-sport athlete, participating in cross country, nordic skiing and cycling.  The Holbrook, AZ native was also named to the Head's List.  

Saints Win Two of Four at RIT in Season Opener

April 2:  The St. Lawrence University men's crew team kicked off its 2012 spring season against RIT on Saturday, winning two of the four races on the Genesee River in Rochester, NY.  The Saints' novices continued to shine as the 8+ and 4+ both took home the gold on the weekend. 

Novice 8+ Shines as Saints Compete in Tampa Mayor’s Cup

March 21: The St. Lawrence University men's crew team opened up the spring racing season at the Tampa Mayor's Cup on March 17th during its annual training trip to Florida. Highlighting the week was a top finish by the Novice 8+.
