Bear Edge Saints in Overtime, 68-66

Dec 4:  Senior captain Curtis Pierce made a layup with two seconds left in overtime to give the SUNY Potsdam men's basketball team a 68-66 non-conference victory over St. Lawrence University in Potsdam, NY on Tuesday night. 

Condlin, Saints Down Roos, 70-58

Dec. 2:  Sophomore Brady Condlin recorded a career-high 24 points and eight rebounds to lead the St. Lawrence University men's basketball team to a 70-58 victory over SUNY Canton in a Sunday's non-conference match-up in the Roos' House. 

Saints Top Soaring Eagles, 62-50

Dec. 1:  The St. Lawrence University men's basketball team defeated Elmira College, 62-50, in Saturday's non-conference match-up in the Burkman Gymnasium.  The Soaring Eagles cut the deficit to five points (46-41) with 9:09 remaining, but the Saints were able to close the game with a 16-9 run for their first victory of the season.

Cardinals Top Saints in Home Opener, 84-68

Nov. 27:  Four players scored in double digits, including Kalik Parker's game-high 15 points, as Plattsburgh State's men's basketball team defeated St. Lawrence University on Tuesday evening the Burkman Gymnasium by the score of 84-68.  The Saints, led by senior Kyle Miller's 14 points, battled throughout the second half but couldn't overcome the depth of the Cardinal bench. 

Mariners Beat Saints at Buzzer, 71-69

Nov. 17:  Frankie Wiseley hit a running one-hander as time expired to give Merchant Marine a 71-69 win over the St. Lawrence University men's basketball team in the third place game of the Chuck Resler Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

Knights Top Saints in Season Opener, 61-47

Nov. 16: The St. Lawrence University men's basketball team fell to Mount Saint Mary College by the score of 61-47 in its season opener at the Chuck Resler Tournament in Rochester on Friday. Senior Kyle Miller had a game-high 19 points, including 4-of-7 from behind the three-point line, while junior Payton Stahler had a game-high ten rebounds, seven points and two steals.

Saints Set to Open at Rochester Tip-Off Tourney

Nov. 15: The St. Lawrence University men's basketball team is set to open its 2012-13 season at the Rochester Tip-Off Tournament this weekend in Rochester, NY. The Saints, who return only one of their four top scorers from last season, will look to continually improve throughout the opening weeks of play in preparation for Liberty League competition.

At Freeport: Simmon was a decorated student-athlete, playing football, basketball and lacrosse. The recipient of the football team's Sportsmanship Award, he was a two-time All-State selection for basketball. Simmon, the basketball team's MVP and winner of the Coaches Award, was added to the school's Wall of Fame. He is also a member of the St. Lawrence football team.

At Grand Rapids C.C.:  Grant is a junior transfer from Grand Rapids Community College in Michigan.  Last season, Tracy earned NJCAA's Exemplary Academic Achievement Award and was named to the MCCAA Academic All-Conference team. The Petoskey, Michigan native was a two-sport athlete in high school, playing basketball and baseball. A captain of the basketball team, he earned All-Conference, All-Area and All-Region honors in 2010.
