Six Score In Double Digits To Pace Saints To 90-84 Victory Over Potsdam State

The St. Lawrence University men’s basketball team and Potsdam State
battled to nearly the same score as last year’s contest, but this time,
the Saints found themselves on the winning side of the ball as the
squad came back from an early 15-point deficit to defeat the Bears
90-84 in non-conference action Tuesday evening at Maxcy Hall in
Potsdam, NY.

The Saints improve to 4-1 overall in their campaign while the Bears fall to 5-2.

St. Lawrence University men’s basketball team to an 82-71 win over
Plattsburgh State in non-conference action in Burkman Gymnasium.

The Saints improve to 3-1 overall while Plattsburgh drops their second
straight decision to fall 2-3 in their season.

Temogua Scores 23 Points; Saints Win 99-85 Over Southern Vermont

Three first-year players combined for 51 points, led by Ralph
Temgoua’s game-high 23, as the St. Lawrence University men’s basketball
team had six players score in the double digits en route to earning
their first win of the season by defeating Southern Vermont 99-85
Saturday afternoon in the final day of the Williams College Tournament
in Williamstown, MA.

#12 Ursinus Edges Saints in Season Opener, 82-76

Despite three players scoring in the double digits, the St.
Lawrence University men’s basketball team fell to nationally-ranked
Ursinus College 82-76 in the Saints’ 2008-09 season opener at the
Williams College Invitational in Williamstown, MA Friday night.

Ursinus, who is ranked 12th in the country according to the D3hoops.com
Preseason Poll, earns their first win of the 2008-09 campaign, while
the Scarlet and Brown fall to an 0-1 record.
