Turner was a four-sport student-athlete, competing for the volleyball, cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field teams. The Pennellville, NY native captained each of those squads, including volleyball for three seasons. A member of the National Honor Society, she earned First Team All-League honors for volleyball and cross country and was fourth in the state meet in the high jump.

Saints Earn AVCA Team Academic Award

July 27:  The St. Lawrence University volleyball team earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for its efforts in the classroom throughout the 2011-12 school year.  The Saints were one of 90 NCAA Division III women's volleyball programs to receive the honor this season.  

Saints Visit Local Nursing Home

March 9:  Members of the St. Lawrence University volleyball team took a trip to Maplewood Nursing Home in Canton on Friday, February 24.  

Trio to Captain Saints Volleyball in 2012

Feb. 27:  The St. Lawrence University volleyball team voted Anna Kassab '14, Katie Prue '14 and Jenna Street '15 to captain the upcoming 2012 fall season. 

Saints Hold End-of-the-Season Banquet

Dec 6:  The St. Lawrence University volleyball team held its end of the season banquet and Christmas party on Sunday where individual honors were awarded, as well as recognition of all team members for their outstanding contributions throughout the season. 

Thoroughbreds Top Saints, 3-0, in Liberty League Semifinal

Nov. 4:  The St. Lawrence University volleyball team's 2011 season came to an end on Friday, as Skidmore College completed the sweep, 25-14, 25-22, 25-21, in the Liberty League Semifinals in Potsdam, NY.

Three Seniors Earn All-Conference Honors

Nov. 3:  Three members of the St. Lawrence University volleyball team have been named Liberty League All-Conference.  Senior Nyasha Miller was voted to the first-team accolades, while classmates Liz Grogan and Marta Johann garnered second-team honors.  Meanwhile, the Saints will begin the 2011 postseason on Friday when they take on Skidmore College at 7:30pm at the Liberty League Tournament, hosted by Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY.  All of the matches will be broadcast by AmericaOne.

Miller Becomes All-Time Leader in Kills at St. Lawrence

Oct. 31: St. Lawrence University senior Nyasha Miller became St. Lawrence University's all-time leader in career kills on Saturday at the 2011 Regional Challenge. The Mount Kisco, NY native passed Jessica Lucky '10 and was named the tournament Most Valuable Player.

Saints Conclude Regional Challange with 3-2 Win Over Nazareth

Oct. 29:  The St. Lawrence University volleyball team concluded its non-conference play at the Regional Challenge in Rochester, NY on Saturday.  The Saints suffered a 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-23) loss to Fredonia to open the day, and then rebounded to take a close 3-2 (25-15, 25-19, 21-25, 23-25, 15-13) decision against Nazareth. 

NYU Slips Past Saints, 3-2

Oct. 28:  The St. Lawrence University volleyball team dropped its first match of the Regional Challenge in Rochester, NY.  New York University slipped past the Saints, 3-2, by the scores of 25-12, 16-25, 25-19, 19-25, and 15-11.  The Scarlet and Brown then fell 3-0 to Rochester in the nightcap (25-15, 25-8, 25-22).
