2011-12 Indoor:The Liberty League co-Field Performer of the Year, Eliza was  a two-time Liberty League Rookie of the Week and the winner of the Track Performer of the Week and Field Performer of the Week awards once each. Eliza tied the SLU record in the high jump in her first intercollegiate meet, set a record at 1.60 meters in the SLU Indoor Invitational and pushed it to 1.65 meters at the Hamilton Invitational. She was Liberty League champion with a league record 1.60 meter jump and second in the high jump in the NYSCTC and fourth in the ECAC. She also competed in the triple jump.Outdoors: Eliza finished 11th in the NCAA high jump, clearing 1.63 meters. She set the SLU outdoor record with a win at 1.69 meters in the ECAC championship and was second in both the Liberty League and NYSCTC championships. She was Liberty League Field Athlete of the Year..

At Clinton High School
Eliza played soccer in addition to running indoor and outdoor track. She was 21st in the high jump at the indoor track and field nationals and was second in the high jump at the New York State Championships in 2010. She was an All Mohwak Valley team all star and a Section III all star in scocer. She was a member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student.

2011;12 Indoor: In her first year of intercollegiate track, Natasha ran the 60, 150, 200 and 300 during the indoor season. She earned Liberty League All Academic honors.Outdoor: Natasha ran the 100 and 200 in the outdoor season.

At Hugh C. Williams
Natasha was a member of the soccer, swimmming, basketball, indoor track and softball teams. She holds the school record for stolen bases in softball. She was National Honor Society president as a senior and earned high honor roll each marking period.

Samantha Weber '15

2011-12 Indoor: Samantha threw a personal best 12.05 meters in the weight throw at the NYSCTC Championships. She was ninth in the Liberty League championships with a 11.71 meter throw.Outdoor: Samantha was second in the Liberty League and sixth in the NYSCTC in the javelin.

At North East High School

Samantha was captain of the volleyball team and earned Most Outstanding Thrower honors as a senior. She was President of the National Honor Society, a National Merit Commended Scholar and earned the Amelia Earhart Leadership Award.

Saints Second in Season-Opening CanAm Challenge

St. Lawrence University's women's indoor track and field team opened its 2011-12 season with several impressive performers by newcomers at the Can-Am Challenge in the Newell Field House Saturday afternoon.

2011-12 Indoor: Samantha competed in the sprints, hurdles and long jump and was part of the Saint 4x200 relay. She ran a personal best 8.35 in the 60 in the NYSCTC Championships and was sixth in the Liberty League championship. She ran the lead leg on the Liberty League champion 4x200 relay team.Outdoors: Samanath competed in the 100, 200 and ran the 100 hurdles in addition to running on the 4x100 relay team.

At North Grenville

Samantha competed in badminton, volleyball and basketball in addition to track and field. She earned the Most Improved Awards in volleyball and track and field and the Leadership in Sport Award. She was Valedictorian of her class, earned the Governor General's Medallion and was a Gold and Silver Pin recipient for academic achievement.

2011-12: Indoor: Anna ran the sprints and was a key contributor on the 4x200 relay for the Saints in her first indoor season. She was third in the Liberty League indoors in the 200 meters and ran on the league champion 4x200 relay.Outdoor: Anna missed the outdoor season due to injury

At Burlington High School

Anna played soccer and ran indoor and outdoor track and field. She was the captain of the track teams as a senior and was the MVP of indoor track as a junior and senior. A National Honor Society member, she was a high honor roll student, graduating Summa Cum Laude and earned the Presidential Achievement Award.

Jessica Tyree '15

2011-12 Indoors: jessica established a career best of 9.54 meters in the shot, placing third in the Can Am Challenge. She was fifth in the Liberty Leageu in the shot. She had a best of 11.89 meters in the weight throw at the Denault Invitational.Outdoors: Jessica was third in the Liberty League in the discus and sixth in the shot. She also competed in the hammer.


At Schenectady High
Jessica played volleyball and was a member of the track and field team. She was captain of the track and field team and the Most Valuable Player on the volleyball team.

Meghan O'Brien '15

2011-12 Indoor: A multi-athlete, Meghan competed primarily in the long and triple jumps in her first indoor season. She had a season best  of 4.36 in the long jump at Hamilton and 9.35 meters in the triple jump.Outdoors: Meghan competed in teh 100 hurdles, long jump and triple jump.

At Granville

Meghan played soccer and basketball and ran outdoor track and field. She was a tri-sport captain, and soccer and track MVP, She was league champion in the long and triple jumps, Section II Class B long jump champion and holds the school record in the long and triple jumps and is part of the record-setting sprint medley relay team. A member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student, she graduated in the top ten of her class.

Outdoors: Cassia competed in the 400 hurdles  and placed fourth in the Liberty League and sixth in the NYSCTC championship.

At New Hartford

A multi-talented athlete, Cassia played soccer, lacrosse and was a skier in addition to competing in both indoor and outdoor track. She captained both the soccer and track teams and was track MVP. She was a National Honor Society member, an honor roll student and earned a Scholar-Athlete Award.

Divya Biswal '15

2011-12 Indoor: Divya competed in the hurdles and dashes for the Saints and was second in the Liberty League in the 60 hurdles and ran on the winning 4x200 relay team.Outdoors: Divya won both the Liberty League and NYSCTC titles in the triple jump and was second in the Liberty League long jump. She set the SLU record with a 11.73 series, finishing third at the ECAC and just missed NCAA qualification.

At Sir Robert Borden
Divya competed in track and field and cross country and was a three-year MVP for track and field. She was a co-captain of the track team, received an honors Athletic Letter and was an OFSAA medalist. She was also an honor roll student and received the academic Silver Medal.
