Stine 2nd in NYSCTC Pentathlon at Hamilton

St. Lawrence University first year Carly Stine got a big points boost with a 2:26.06 finish in the 800 meters, the final event of the 2012 New York State Collegiate Track Conference pentathlon to finish second in her first collegiate multi-event competition as part of the NYSCTC Indoor Championships at Hamilton College on Friday.

Stine, Hulton Have Top Finishes at Cornell

Carly Stine won the 500 meters and the 4x800 relay team ran one of the best times in the state among Division III teams this season to highlight St. Lawrence University's women's indoor track team's performance at the Denault Invitational at Cornell on Saturday.

Kinsey Sets Record As Saints Run in Ottawa

Hannah Kinsey improved her own St. Lawrence record in the 150 meter dash and was one of a trio of Saint second place finishers as the women's indoor track team opened the 2012 part of its season with competition in the non-scoring Dome Super Saturday Series hosted by the Ottawa Lions Track and Field Club in Ottawa on Saturday.

Saints Take 2nd in Annual Holiday Relays

A quartet of individual second place finishes and two second place relays highlighted the performances for the St. Lawrence University women's indoor track and field team as the Saints finished second in the team scoring in a six-team field at the annual Saint Holiday Relays at the Newell Field House on Saturday.

2011-12 Indoor: Carly Stine had an outstanding first season of indoor competition, finishing second in the NYSCTC indoor pentathlon and eighth in the ECAC pentatlon. She was also Liberty League champion in the 400.Outdoor: The Liberty League Rookie of the Year, Carly was Liberty League champion in the 100 hurdles and NYSCTC Champion and a NCAA qualifier in the 400 hurdles. She was second in the ECAC in the 400 hurldes. She also finished fifth in the ECAC in the high jump and was second in the NYSCTC heptathlon championship. She was Liberty League Rookie of the Week seven times between indoor and outdoor.

At South Burlington High School
A member of the field hockey and indoor and outdoor track teams, Carly was Vermont Division I State Champion in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and 55 meter hurdles. She was named the Outstanding Athlete of the Year. An honor roll student and the winner of the Student-Athlete Award, she played field hockey for the Saints in the fall.

2011-12 Indoor:The Liberty League co-Field Performer of the Year, Eliza was  a two-time Liberty League Rookie of the Week and the winner of the Track Performer of the Week and Field Performer of the Week awards once each. Eliza tied the SLU record in the high jump in her first intercollegiate meet, set a record at 1.60 meters in the SLU Indoor Invitational and pushed it to 1.65 meters at the Hamilton Invitational. She was Liberty League champion with a league record 1.60 meter jump and second in the high jump in the NYSCTC and fourth in the ECAC. She also competed in the triple jump.Outdoors: Eliza finished 11th in the NCAA high jump, clearing 1.63 meters. She set the SLU outdoor record with a win at 1.69 meters in the ECAC championship and was second in both the Liberty League and NYSCTC championships. She was Liberty League Field Athlete of the Year..

At Clinton High School
Eliza played soccer in addition to running indoor and outdoor track. She was 21st in the high jump at the indoor track and field nationals and was second in the high jump at the New York State Championships in 2010. She was an All Mohwak Valley team all star and a Section III all star in scocer. She was a member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student.
