Nuffer Wins 10K, Saints 2nd in 4x800 at NYSCTC Championship

McKayla Nuffer won the 10,000 meter championship and the 4x800 relay team finished second to highlight day one of competition for the St. Lawrence University women's track and field team in the 2012 New York State Collegiate Track Conference Outdoor Championships at the University of Rochester on Friday.

Stine 2nd in NYSCTC Heptathlon, Bell, Marini Star at Cornell

Carly Stine finished second in her first heptathlon competition, compiling 3894 points in the New York State Collegiate Track Conference multi-event championship at RPI Sunday and Monday while Eliza Bell was third in the high jump and Jessica Marini was fifth in the 400 hurdles and ran on the second place 4x400 relay at the Big Red Invitational at Cornell on Sunday.

Linder, Kinsey Earn Meet Honors as Saints Win Liberty League Title

Sophomores Kristen Linder and Hannah Kinsey were named the outstanding field and track performers of the meet, helping St. Lawrence University's women's outdoor track and field team to the 2012 Liberty League championship at Rensselaer on Saturday.

Bell, Biswal Set Records, Hulton 2nd in 3000 at Bucknell

First year competitors Eliza Bell and Divya Biswal set St. Lawrence records in field event competition and Jenna Hulton had a second place finish in the 3000 meter run to highlight the Saint performances at the Bucknell Invitational Saturday and Sunday.

Hulton Wins 1500 as Saints Open Outdoor Season at Rochester

Jenna Hulton won the 1500 meters and finished fourth in the 800 meters as St. Lawrence University's women's track and field team opened its outdoor season with a solid showing in the non-scoring Rochester Spring Invitational at the University of Rochester on Saturday.

2012 Outdoor: Paige throw a collegiate best of 24.23 meters in the javelin, finishing seventh in the Liberty League championships.

Paige Randall played soccer, basketball and ran track and field at Rice Memorial High School and was a member of basketball state championship teams in both high school and AAU. She was a two-time qualifier for the Vermont State Championships in track and field in the javelin. She was Vice President of the National Honor Society, earned High Honors and was President of the Campus Ministry.

2011-12: Jessica won the Liberty League championship in the 400 hurdles for the second time and was third in the NYSCTC Championship.She finished ninth in the 400 hurdles at the ECAC Championship.

She was Liberty League champion in the 400 hurdles in 2010 and finished fourth in the NYSCTC in that event. She also ran the 400 meter and 200 meter dashes.

 

Hulton, Bell, Curran Earn Liberty League Awards

St. Lawrence University's women's indoor track and field program continued to dominate the Liberty League post-season awards as senior Jenna Hulton was named Indoor Track Athlete of the Year, Eliza Bell was selected as the Co-Field Athlete of the Year and coach Kate Curran and her staff were named Coaching Staff of the Year for the second consecutive season.

Stine 8th in ECAC Pentathlon Championship

St. Lawrence University's Carly Stine finished eighth in the 2012 ECAC indoor pentathlon championship at the Armory in New York City and high jumper Eliza Bell was fourth  to highlight the Saint women's indoor track team's participation in the ECAC Championships.
