Murphy Advances to Massachusetts State Finals

Aug. 7: St. Lawrence University women's tennis captain Shannon Murphy '13 has continued to excel on the court this summer, as she and her teammates won the Eastern Massachusetts district championship this weekend.

2012-13 Captains Announced

July 18:  The St. Lawrence University men's and women's tennis teams announced the captains for the upcoming 2012-13 season.  Seniors Michael Hayden and Tom Timpone will represent the men's team as co-captains in the fall, while senior Shannon Murphy will captain the women's team.

Drewry, Saints Earn Academic Honors

July 18:  Graduated senior Hillary Drewry and the St. Lawrence University women's tennis team were honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for their efforts in the classroom during the last year. 

Drewry, Vandenbeemt Earn All-Conference Honors

May 16:  Two members of the St. Lawrence University women's tennis team have been recognized by the Liberty League for their performances throughout the 2011-12 season.  Senior Hillary Drewry and first-year student Elkie Vandenbeemt were both named All-League in singles, as well as All-League as a doubles team.  

Saints Fall to Vassar in Liberty League Semifinal

May 5: The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team fell to nationally-ranked #27 Vassar in the Liberty League Tournament Semifinal at the Josselyn Tennis Courts in Poughkeepsie, NY. The Saints, ranked #16 in the Northeast, conclude their season with a 13-4 record.

Saints Down RIT in Liberty League Quarterfinals

May 4: The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team defeated RIT by the score of 5-1 in the Liberty League Tennis Championship quarterfinal. The Saints will face host Vassar in the semifinal on Saturday at 12:00pm at Josselyn Tennis Courts.

Thoroughbreds Down Saints, 6-3


April 28: The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team suffered a tough 6-3 loss to nationally ranked #17 Skidmore College on Saturday afternoon in the Newell Field House. The Saints, ranked #17 in the Northeast, fell to 12-3 on the season, while the Thoroughbreds improved to 10-5 overall.

Saints Move to 12-2 with Victory Over RIT

April 21: The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team, ranked No. 16 in the Northeast, improved to 12-2 on the season with a 7-0 win over RIT in Pittsford, NY.

Drewry, Saints Ranked in Northeast Region

April 19: The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team and senior captain Hillary Drewry are both ranked in this week's Northeast regional poll.
