McNeal Named Rookie of the Year; Three Saints Earn All-Conference Honors

May 31:  Morgan McNeal '16 was named the 2013 Liberty League Women's Tennis Rookie of the Year for her performance throughout the 2012-13 season.  Elkie Vandenbeemt '15 and Shannon Murphy '13 joined McNeal in being recognized as All-Conference selections. 

Brewers Top Saints in Conference Semifinals

May 4:  The #3 seeded St. Lawrence University women's tennis team battled against #2 Vassar College but would fall 5-1 to the Brewers in the Liberty League Tournament semifinal match on Saturday afternoon.  Vassar advances to the tournament finals tomorrow morning against #1 Skidmore at 10:00am.  Meanwhile, the Saints fall to 10-6 overall as their season comes to an end.  

Saints Advance to Semifinal with Victory Over RIT

May 2:  The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team earned a 6-0 victory over RIT on Friday afternoon to advance to the Liberty League Tournament semifinal against Vassar tomorrow at 2pm.  The Saints improved to 10-5 on the season, while RIT falls to 1-8. 

Saints Earn 8-1 Win on “Senior Day”

April 21:  The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team earned an 8-1 victory over RIT on Sunday afternoon.  The Saints, who improve to 9-5 on the season, celebrated the final home match of the team's two seniors, Elizabeth Geer and Shannon Murphy.  Both members of the class of 2013  were double winners to lead the Saints to the win. 

Saints Top Herons 6-3

April 14:  The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team, ranked #17 in the Northeast, improved to 8-5 on the season with a 6-3 victory over Liberty League opponent William Smith (8-4) in Geneva, NY on Sunday afternoon.  St. Lawrence will celebrate "senior day" on April 21 when it hosts RIT at 10:00 am. 

Saints Fall 6-3 to Yellowjackets

April 13:  The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team fell to the University of Rochester, 6-3, in Rochester, NY on Saturday afternoon.  The Yellowjackets are ranked #12 in the Northeast and improve to 10-4 on the season.  Meanwhile, the regionally-ranked #17 Saints fall to 7-5 overall and will take on William Smith tomorrow afternoon in Geneva, NY.

Saints Top Dutchwomen to Complete Weekend Sweep

April 7:  The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team improved to 7-4 on the season, handily defeating Union College on Sunday afternoon in the Newell Field House.  The Saints, ranked #17 in the Northeast, will travel to Rochester and William Smith next weekend for a pair of dual matches. 

Saints Cruise Past Bard, 9-0

April 6:  The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team, ranked 17th in the Northeast, swept its second straight match of the weekend with a 9-0 win over Bard in the Newell Field House on Saturday morning.  The Saints improve to 6-4 on the season and will host Union College on Sunday at noon in the Newell Field House.  Meanwhile, Bard falls to 4-4. 

Saints Sweep Golden Flyers

April 5:  The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team, ranked #17 in the Northeast, earned a 9-0 sweep over Nazareth College on Friday afternoon in the Newell Field House.  The Saints improve to 5-4 before hosting Liberty League opponents Bard on Saturday and Union on Sunday. 

Saints Outlast Engineers, Fall to Thoroughbreds

March 23:   The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team split its weekend matches against Liberty League opponents as it outlasted Rensselaer 5-4 on Friday but fell to nationally-ranked #17 Skidmore on Saturday.  The Saints, regionally-ranked #17, moved to 4-4 on the season.
