Saints Drop Two Matches at Hamilton

St. Lawrence University's women's squash team slipped to 0-3 on the season with losses to 15th-ranked Hamilton College and 19th-ranked Franklin and Marshall at Hamilton.

2012: Carolyn went 2-15 at nine for the Saints as a sophomore.  A psychology major, she is a member of MEDLife and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. 

2011:
Carolyn did not play in any intercollegiate matches.

At Darien:
  Carolyn played soccer, tennis, squash and ran track.  She was a three-year captain of the JV tennis team.

2012: Parker played primarily at seven for the Saints as a sophomore and went 1-15. She was 1-1 at eight and had a key victory for the Saints in the CSA Nationals win over Boston College.

2011:
Parker Benedict went 2-5 in intercollegiate play, 0-2 at eight and 2-3 at nine. She was also 6-2 in exhibition matches.

At Garrison:  A multi-talented athlete, C. Parker Benedict played field hockey, squash and lacrosse and was a cum laude graduate. She is also a member of the Saints lacrosse team.

2011: Liz went 0-1 at nine, playing against Franklin and Marshall, and was 2-0 in exhibition matches, both at CSA Nationals with a 3-0 win over Boston College and a 3-2 win against Colgate.

At Concord-Carlisle:  Elizabeth played soccer, ran cross country and winter track and played lacrosse.  She was also on the swim team. 

Saints Host Round Robin to Open 2010-11 Season

Nov. 13: The St. Lawrence University women's squash team opened the 2010-11 season on Saturday at the Robie Squash Courts, as the Saints hosted Queens, the University of Toronto and William Smith in a round robin.

Dr. John Bursnall

Dr. John Bursnall will continue to serve as the men's and women's squash team's Faculty/Staff Mentor for the 2012-2013 season.

Dr. Bursnall was named Professor Emeritus in 2006, having completed an outstanding career in the Geology Department at St. Lawrence University.

Dr. Bursnall's areas of specialization include: Structural geology, tectonics, metamorphic and igneous petrology; deep crustal structure in the Canadian Shield; Northern Appalachian structure and tectonics; multiply deformed terranes; fault rocks.

North, Robinson, Smith Earn All Liberty League Honors

Three members of the 2009-10 St. Lawrence University women's squash team were named to the Liberty League All Star team in voting by the league's coaches.

Hearn Competes at CSA Individual Nationals

St. Lawrence University sophomore Jennifer Hearn competed in her first College Squash Association Individual National Championship tournament at Yale.

Saints Beat Georgetown in Walker Cup Competition

St. Lawrence University's women's squash team beat Georgetown 7-2 at Yale on Sunday in the Walker Cup 23-24 match as part of the 2010 national team championships.

William Smith Edges Saints 5-4 in Consolation Semifinal

St. Lawrence University's women's squash team won four matches at the top of the lineup, but William Smith swept the bottom of the lineup to post a 5-4 victory in the Walker Cup consolation semifinals at Yale on Saturday.
