Saints Split Opening Weekend Matches in Women's Squash

St. Lawrence University's women's squash team opened its season with a split of matches at Hamilton on Saturday, losing 7-2 to Vassar but coming back with a 9-0 win over William Smith.

2012: Brigitte stepped in at number one for the Saints and had a strong rookie season, going 8-9 against top competition. Six of her nine losses were in extra games matches. She went 1-2 at CSA individual nationals and was 3-0 in the CSA Team Nationals competition. She is a biology major at St. Lawrence and also a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.  

At Millbrook:  Brigitte participated in soccer and squash,  captaining the squash team in 2011 and earning MVP honors in 2010 and 2011.  She was a cum laude graduate and an honor roll student.

2012: Brittany played at three, four and five for the Saints, going 1-5 at three, 1-8 at four and 1-1 at five.  A psychology major, she is also a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. 

At Suffield:  Brittany was a three-sport athlete, participating in squash, tennis and field hockey.

2012:  Caroline played in the 10 spot for the Saints in the lineup and did not have any official collegiate matches.  A major in psychology, she is also a reading tutor at Kennedy Elementary School in Ogdensbury, NY.  

At Lincoln-Sudbury:  Caroline was a two-sport athlete, participating in field hockey and basketball.  She was also a Lincoln-Sudbury Scholar for two years.

Hearn Eliminated in Holleran Cup Competition

Jenn Hearn represented the Saints in the 2011 College Squash Association women's Individual National Championships at Harvard Friday and was eliminated in the consolation round of the Holleran Cup.

Saints Win Epps Consolation Final at CSA Team Nationals

St. Lawrence University's women's squash team was the first upset victim of Georgetown university in the Epps Cup competition at the Women's College Squash Association National Championships at Princeton, but the Saints bounced back to win their next two matches, beating Boston College 5-4 and Colgate 7-2 in the consolation finals.

Saints Fall 9-0 at Williams

St. Lawrence University's women's squash team lost 9-0 at 11th-ranked Williams on Saturday to complete the dual match portion of its schedule and will play in the Howe Cup National Championship competition at Princeton Feb. 18-20.

11th-Ranked Middlebury Blanks Saints

Middlebury College rolled to a 9-0 win over St. Lawrence University's women's squash team on Saturday at the Robie Squash Center as the Saints dropped to 3-9 on the season with a match against Williams to go before Howe Cup competition in mid-February.

Saints Go 1-2 in Yale Round Robin Matches

  St. Lawrence University's women's squash team went 1-2 at the Yale Round Robin Saturday and Sunday and will host the 11th-ranked Middlebury as part of the St. Lawrence Round Robin on  Saturday.

Saints Go 2-3 at Pioneer Valley Squash Tournament

Junior Jen Hearn went 3-2 in her return to squash action after spending the first semester studying abroad and St. Lawrence University's women's squash team won its first two matches of the year at the Pioneer Valley Squash Tournament Saturday and Sunday.
