2012:  LaClair was a contributor off the bench in her sophomore season, recording three goals and two assists for the Saints.  The Massena, NY native scored two goals against Potsdam on Sep. 12, and assisted on the game-winner against Clarkson that closed the season.  An economics and mathematics double-major, LaClair earned Liberty League All-Academic honors for her efforts in the classroom and is a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. 

2011: Nyssa played in 13 of 17 games for the Saints as a rookie and scored one goal and assisted on two others. She scored her first collegiate point with an assist in the SUNYIT game and scored her first collegiate goal in a win over Potsdam. 

At Massena: 
A 2009 and 2010 first team All Northern selection, Nyssa was a member of the 2010 Class A Section X Championship team and the second leading scorer in Section X. She played club soccer for Seaway Valley and the Cornwall Blazers.

2012:  Wark played in 11 games in her sophomore season and earned her first collegiate points.  The Lake Forest, IL native assisted on two goals during the season, including the game-winner against Bard on Sep. 29.  A major in Spanish, she is a SAAC representative and is involved in the Community Based Learning program. 

2011: Holly played in four games for the Saints in her rookie season. She made her debut against SUNYIT and also played against Elmira, Bard and Potsdam. 

At Lake Forest: 
Holly was a four-year varsity starter and played four years of ODP soccer. She was 2010 Pioneer Press All Lakeshore Conference, and 2010 All-IHSCCA Section 3 and a two-year captain.  The Lake Forest, IL native also played club soccer for FC United Select.

Meghan Ryan '15

2012:  Ryan saw time in nine games in her second season with the Saints, scoring her second and third collegiate goals against Medaille and SUNY Potsdam.  The Lenox, MA native is a psychology major and earned Liberty League All-Academic honors for her efforts in the classroom. 

2011: Meghan played in four games for the Saints as a rookie and scored her first collegiate goal in her first appearance, a win over SUNYIT.

At Lenox:
  Ryan was a two-year high school varsity captain and earned all conference and All Berkshire Eagle honors as both a junior and senior.  She played club soccer for Westenhook F.C.

Laura Topf '15

2012:   Topf stepped into a starting role in her sophomore season, helping to anchor the Saints' defense that posted nine shutouts, including a program record five consecutively.  The Pittsford, NY native scored her first collegiate goal against John Jay on Sep. 1, and was named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team for her efforts in the classroom. 

2011: Laura was a key reserve for the Saints and played a role in helping the team compile an 0.95 team goals against average. She played in all 17 games as a rookie and scored her first collegiate point with an assist in a win over SUNYIT.  A major in psychology and pre-management, she was a Vilas and Leadership Scholar and also earned a spot on the Dean's List.  She also is a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee.  

At Pittsford-Sutherland:  Laura was second team All-State, first team All County, Team MVP and captain as a senior and earned first team All County and was captain as a junior. Her team's defensive MVP in both 2007 and 2008, she played club soccer for the Empire United Soccer Club in Rochester.

Elena Dauphinais '15

2012:  Dauphinais appeared in six games for the Saints in her sophomore season.

2011: Elena came off the bench and appeared in six games for the Saints, scoring her first collegiate goal in a win over SUNYIT in game two of the season.  The Chester, NH native is a biology major at St. Lawrence.  

At Pinkerton Academy:  An All State selection as a senior, Elena was team captain and was a Super-Y League National team selection in 2010 and 2007. She was the 2010 recipient of the NHIAA and NHADA Scholar-Athlete Award and played club soccer for Seacoast United. She was also a member of the Foreign Language honor society and was Magna Cum Laude on the national Latin exam.

Eileen Coyle

Eileen Coyle, an all conference player at SUNY Geneseo, joined the Saints staff in the fall of 2011 as an assistant coach for the women's soccer team.    

Coyle was captain of the Herkimer County Community College soccer team and was a two-time first team All America while at Herkimer, also earning the college's Athlete of the Year honors prior to completing her degree in psychology at Geneseo. She played  two seasons at Geneseo and also played lacrosse at both Geneseo and Herkimer.

She also played for the Coliseum Soccer Women's Travel team, helping the team win the Italy Cup Championship and is a member of the Rochester Ravens W-League team.

She has coached at the Oneonta, Geneseo and Hamilton soccer camps and coached a club team with the Doug Miller Soccer Academy.

Al Gotsch

Al Gotsch, a former Associate Director of Admissions, will continue to serve as the 2012-2013 Faculty/Staff Mentor to both the alpine ski and women's soccer teams.

 

A graduate and former soccer player at Potsdam State, Gotsch has lived in the North Country for most of his life. He is an avid squash player and enjoys both reading and traveling.

Rogers, van Geldern Are 1st Team All Liberty League

Junior midfielder Elena Rogers and junior goalkeeper Abby van Geldern were named to the Liberty League first team all star team in women's soccer in voting by the league's coaches.

Saints Finish with 11 Wins after 3-1 Win at Potsdam

Oct. 27: Sophomore Stephanie Sayward scored one goal and set up another as St. Lawrence University's women's soccer team finished its season with an 11-7 record after a 3-1 win at Potsdam State Wednesday afternoon.

Justison, vanGeldern Lead Saints To Upset of Hamilton

Marcelle Justison scored one goal and assisted on the other and goalkeeper Abby vanGeldern made 14 saves as St. Lawrence University's women's soccer team upset Hamilton College 2-1 in a Liberty League game at Sandy MacAllaster Field Sunday afternoon.
