No. 2 Herons Defeat Saints, 3-0

Oct. 8:  Junior Renee Jensen scored two goals to lead nationally-ranked No. 2 William Smith to a 3-0 Liberty League victory over St. Lawrence University at Sandy MacAllaster Field in Canton, NY on Saturday.  With the victory, the Herons remain undefeated at 11-0-1 with a 5-0 mark in the conference, while the Saints fall to 5-3-2 and suffer their first league loss of the season (2-1-1). 

SLU, Vassar Battle To 1-1 Overtime Tie

Senior Betsy Lucas scored off a corner kick at the 78:04 mark of regulation to tie the game, but St. Lawrence University's women's soccer team couldn't find the go-ahead goal despite a number of great chances as St. Lawrence and Vassar played to a 1-1 double overtime tie in a Liberty League game on Sandy MacAllaster Field Saturday afternoon.
