Four Saints Earn All-Conference Accolades

May 3: The Liberty League announced its annual award winners for women's lacrosse on Thursday and four members of the St. Lawrence University squad earned All-Conference honors for the first time in their collegiate careers.

Cardinals Top Saints 15-8 in Season Finale

May 1: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team dropped its 2012 season finale to St. John Fisher on Tuesday afternoon by the score of 15-8 in Canton, NY.  The Cardinals, ranked just outside the top-20 nationally, were led by seven-point outings by Melissa Leonhard (4g,3a) and Taylor Hughes (2g,5a) while Brigid Hurley, Margie Bailey and Kendall Harty each scored twice for the Saints.

Horan Scores Five, Saints Blitz Bard 18-3

Apr. 28: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team opened up a 12-2 halftime lead en route to an 18-3 win over Bard College in the Liberty League regular season finale in Canton, NY on Saturday afternoon.  Sophomore Abigail Horan scored a game-high five goals, while three other players including senior co-captain Paige Powell added two for the Saints.

Piroli, Hurley Boost Saints Past Vassar, 20-8

Apr. 27: St. Lawrence University senior co-captain Lanni Piroli had a game-high six points (3g,3a) while junior Brigid Hurley added a game-high five goals, as the Saints women's lacrosse team defeated Vassar College by the score of 20-8 in Canton, NY on Friday afternoon.

Saints Stumble at William Smith, 13-8

Apr. 21: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team suffered a 13-8 setback on Saturday against William Smith in Geneva, NY.  Christine Abramo and Rosie Scheibel each had three goals for the Herons, while senior co-captain Kendall Harty scored three times for the Scarlet and Brown.

Egizi, Union Knock Off Saints, 10-6

Apr. 20: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team saw a 4-3 lead turn into a 6-4 deficit thanks to three straight goals by Union's Kat Egizi, propelling the Dutchwomen to a 10-6 win over the Saints in Schenectady, NY on Friday afternoon.

Saints Start Strong, Handle Tigers 16-11

Apr. 14: Playing in its most important game thus far in 2012, the St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team delivered perhaps its best performance.  The Saints sprinted out to a six-goal lead and never looked back, as they handed RIT a 16-11 loss in Canton, NY on Saturday in a crucial Liberty League contest, the first ever between the two squads.

Saints Cruise in Second Half, Top Rochester 14-6

Apr. 13: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team seized control against the University of Rochester behind a nine-goal run to open the second half en route to a 14-6 win at Hall-Leet Stadium in Canton, NY on Friday evening.  Junior Stephanie O'Rourke had a game-high four goals to pace the Scarlet and Brown.

Saints Storm Past Clarkson in Second Half, Win 13-5

Apr. 10: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team used a six-goal run in the second half to knock off Clarkson University by the score of 13-5 on Tuesday in Potsdam, NY.  Junior Brigid Hurley led all scorers with four goals for the Scarlet and Brown, while senior co-captain Paige Powell made nine saves.

RPI Remains Unbeaten, Tops Saints 12-10

Apr. 7: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team suffered a 12-10 setback on Saturday, as Rensselaer improved to 9-0 on the season in Troy, NY.  Stephanie O'Rourke led the Saints with three goals, but Allie Arnal's 10-save performance in goal allowed the Engineers to celebrate the two-goal league victory.
