Saints to Host Brockport State in 2013 Opener on Friday

Mar. 6: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team is set to open its 2013 campaign on Friday, as the Saints play host to Brockport State in the season opener at Hall-Leet Stadium.

Seeley was a dual-sport athlete, earning recognition for her play on the lacrosse and soccer fields. A captain for both teams, she was a First Team All-League selection for each sport as well, and earned All-CNY Third Team honors for lacrosse. Seeley, who earned the Exceptional Senior Award, was inducted into the National Honor Society, was a two-time US Lacrosse Academic All-American and was given the Distinguished Leader of Character Award.

Herman was a decorated student-athlete, serving as a two-year captain for the lacrosse team while earning a spot on the Honor Roll four straight years. A member of the Latin Honor Society and the school's Student of the Month (Dec,2011), she was First Team All-State as a junior and senior, and was selected to participate in the national tournament twice.

Bailey earned her way on to the school's Honor Roll each of her four years while competing on the lacrosse, field hockey and ski teams. She was named the lacrosse team's Offensive MVP as a senior as well as a Patriot League all-star. Bailey, who was also her class' secretary for four years, captained the field hockey and ski teams as well.

Maybee was a stand-out student-athlete, racking up both athletic and academic awards. A member of the National Honor Society, she was given the school's Athletic and Academic Excellence Award while playing lacrosse, soccer, alping skiing and Equestrian. She was an All-Conference selection for lacrosse and soccer and her team won the 2010 Section title.

Saward was a three-sport athlete, playing lacrosse, field hockey and ice hockey while earning high honors. A member of the National Honor Society, she was a Second Team All-State selection and the Offensive MVP for lacrosse. Saward also won state titles in lacrosse and field hockey and earned Twin State honors for each as well.
