Eight Saints Score in 9-5 Win Over Potsdam State

Mar. 23: Eight members of the St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team scored and junior goaltender Anna Marchand made eight saves to lead the Saints to a 9-5 nonconference victory over Potsdam State on Tuesday afternoon in Potsdam, NY. 

Piroli, Morse Help Saints Rout Elmira, 18-3

Mar. 20: St. Lawrence University sophomore Alanna Piroli and junior Kim Morse each scored four goals on Saturday afternoon, leading the Saints' women's lacrosse team to a thorough 18-3 victory over Elmira College in the team's 2010 home opener at North Country Field.

Morse Scores Five, Saints Drop Fredonia State 15-8

Mar. 12: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team completed a perfect southern trip on Friday evening, as junior Kim Morse scored five goals and anchored the Saints to a 15-8 win over Fredonia State in a soggy West Palm Beach, FL.

Marchand Backstops Saints to 12-9 Victory Over Wesleyan

Mar. 11: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team improved to 2-0 on the young season on Thursday, as the Saints used a late seven-goal run and a brilliant performance in goal by junior Anna Marchand to rally past Wesleyan, 12-9, in West Palm Beach, FL.

Hurley Ignites Saints’ Comeback in 16-15 Win Over Bridgewater State

Mar. 9: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team kicked its 2010 season off in dramatic fashion on Tuesday evening against Bridgewater State in West Palm Beach, FL.  Trailing 15-11 with less than seven minutes remaining in the game, the Saints rattled off five straight goals including four from first-year student Brigid Hurley to stun the Bears, 16-15.

Experience, Depth to Bolster Saints in 2010

Mar. 4: As the days begin to grow longer and the snow and ice melt away from the Astroturf at North Country Field, the St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team prepares for its 2010 season, which kicks off on Tuesday in West Palm Beach, FL against Bridgewater State.  The Saints, coming off of a 6-8 season, return nearly the entire roster from last year and will look to make a run at the 2010 Liberty League Tournament.

2012: O'Rourke had a breakout season for the Scarlet and Brown in 2012, totaling 34 points on a career-high 28 goals and six assists.  She scored four goals three times as a junior, including in two key wins over RIT and Rochester.  Stephanie's efforts landed her Liberty League All-Conference Honorable Mention.

2011:
O'Rourke appeared in 16 games for the Saints in her sophomore season.  She totaled five goals, six assists, 34 ground balls and six draw controls. The Marcellus, NY native, who studied abroad in London in the fall of 2011, earned Liberty League All-Academic honors and was inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha, the government honor society. 

2010:
O'Rourke saw time in nine games in the midfield for St. Lawrence in her rookie campaign.  The Marcellus, NY native had a pair of two-goal games (Elmira and Rochester) while chipping in five ground balls and four draw controls.  O'Rourke is majoring in history at St. Lawrence.

O'Rourke was a stand-out student-athlete, earning honors for her efforts both on the Lacrosse field and in the classroom. The Marcellus, NY native was an Honors Graduate, a member of the National Honor Society and attended the National Young Leaders Conference. O'Rourke's athletic achievements include being a two-time Section III All-Star for lacrosse and earning the Exceptional Senior Award in 2009.

2012:   Noyes led the team and was fourth in the Liberty League with 64 draw controls in her junior season at St. Lawrence.  She earned Second Team All-Conference honors.  

2011:  Noyes played in 12 games her sophomore season with the Saints, finishing with 23 ground balls and 18 draw controls.  She is a member of Kappa Delta Sigma and participates in club women's ice hockey.   

2010:
Noyes played in five games during her rookie season, including Bridgewater St., Fredonia, Elmira, Rochester and Union.  The Marblehead, MA native is a member of SLU Buddies and is majoring in sociology at St. Lawrence.

At Pingree School
Noyes was a tri-sport athlete, earning accolades in Lacrosse, Soccer and Ice Hockey. The Marblehead, MA native was the recipient of several awards for her play on the lacrosse field, including All-League, The Pesce Athletic Award and The Highlander Award. Noyes twice earned a spot on the Headmaster's List.

2012:   Kelley was excellent in the transition game in her junior season with St. Lawrence, while adding three goals and two assists.  The Shoreham, VT native also recorded career-highs in ground balls and draw controls.  

2011:  Kelley appeared in ten games for the saints in her sophomore season, scoring five goals and adding two assists.  A tutor and TA on campus, she earned a spot on the Liberty League All-Academic team for her efforts in the classroom. 

2010:
Kelley saw time in four games for St. Lawrence in her rookie season.  The Shoreham, VT native is majoring in math at St. Lawrence and was on the Dean's List.  Kelley, who received the Sesquicentennial Scholarship, is a member of the American Chemical Society and received the Bradley R. Evers Outstanding First-Year Student award.


At Middlebury Union

Kelley was a dual-sport athlete, playing both Lacrosse and Basketball. As the captain of the Lacrosse team in her senior year, the Shoreham, VT native earned First Team All-State honors and the school's "Athlete of the Year Award". She graduated Valedictorian of her class and was a member of the National Honor Society while achieving High Honor Roll status.

2012:   Hurley had a stellar season for St. Lawrence in her junior campaign, posting new career highs in games played, goals, assists and points.  The Penfield, NY native, who also scored three game-winners during the season, was a Liberty League Offensive Player of the Week on March 19th and earned Second Team All-Conference accolades.  

2011:  Hurley continued her offensive success as a sophomore as she scored 24 goals, third-most on the Saints' roster.  A psychology major at St. Lawrence, Brigid also serves as the Vice President of Kappa Delta Sigma.

2010:
Hurley made an immediate impact offensively in her rookie season, totaling 21 goals which was third-most on the St. Lawrence roster.  The Penfield, NY native, who picked up a pair of game-winning goals, had a memorable debut with the team in a dramatic 16-15 win over Bridgewater State.  With her team trailing by four, Hurley scored four goals in under five minutes, leading the Saints to victory.  A member of Kappa Delta Sigman, she was named the conference's Rookie of the Week twice in 2010.

At Penfield High School

Hurley was a tri-sport athlete, participating in Lacrosse, Field Hockey and Alpine Skiing. The Penfield, NY native was a First Team All-County selection for lacrosse and was both an Academic All-America and All-Greater Rochester (Honorable Mention). The captain of the field hockey squad, Hurley achieved High Honor Roll status.
