No. 10 Harvard Escapes Saints in OT, 3-2

Feb. 12: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team suffered a tough 3-2 overtime loss to nationally-ranked No. 10 Harvard on "Senior Day" at Appleton Arena.  Jillian Dempsey scored Saturday's game-winner with only 6.3 seconds left in the extra session, giving the Crimson two points in the ECAC Hockey standings.

Scanlon’s Late Goal Pushes Dartmouth Past Saints, 3-2

Feb. 11: Dartmouth College's Moira Scanlon snapped a 2-2 tie at 16:37 of the third period on Friday afternoon, leading the Big Green past the St. Lawrence University women's hockey team at Appleton Arena by the score of 3-2. 

Special Teams Help No. 2 Cornell Rally Past Saints, 2-1

Feb. 5: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team dropped a tough 2-1 contest to nationally-ranked No. 2 Cornell University on Saturday at Appleton Arena.  The Big Red used their outstanding special teams units and two fortunate bounces to score the victory and clinch the 2010-11 ECAC Hockey Regular Season title.

Saints Earn Key Win over Colgate, 4-2

Feb. 4: Sophomores Michelle Ng and Kayla Sullivan each scored a goal, propelling the St. Lawrence women's hockey team to a big 4-2 victory over Colgate University at Appleton Arena on Friday night.

Wheeler Leads No. 10 Quinnipiac Past Saints, 4-2

Jan. 29: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team dropped its second straight game on Saturday by the score of 4-2 in Hamden, CT against nationally-ranked No. 10 Quinnipiac.  Kate Wheeler scored a pair of goals for the Bobcats in the third period, while rookie Mel Desrochers and senior assistant captain Karell Emard each had a goal for the Saints.

Weber, Princeton Shutout Saints, 4-0

Jan. 28: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team outshot Princeton University, 37-27, on Friday night in Princeton, NJ.  However, the Tigers were back-stopped by Rachel Weber, who turned in a brilliant performance in net to shutout the Saints and give the Tigers a 4-0 conference victory.

Goldsmith, Sabatine Lead Saints to Weekend Sweep

Sophomore defenseman Jamie Goldsmith scored with 1:58 left in the first period to give St. Lawrence University's women's hockey team the lead and a stellar defensive performance by the Saints limited Yale to just 11 shots on goal as the Saints swept and ECAC Women's Hockey series for just the second time this season with a 2-0 win at Appleton Arena Saturday afternoon.

Emond Sparks Saints to 4-2 Win over Brown

Junior wing Vanessa Emond scored two goals as part of a three-goal first period as St. Lawrence University's women's hockey team completed a season sweep of ECAC Hockey rival Brown with a 4-2 win at Appleton Arena on Friday night.

Sabatine Named ECAC Hockey’s Player of the Week

Jan. 19: ECAC Hockey announced on Tuesday that sophomore Kelly Sabatine was being recognized as the league's MLX Skates Player of the Week award winner.

Sabatine, Weisz Help Saints Top Dartmouth, 4-2

Jan. 15: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team snapped a four-game losing skid on Saturday in Hanover, NH, as the Saints used two third period goals to pull away from Dartmouth College, 4-2.  Sophomore Kelly Sabatine had two goals including the game-winner, while graduate student Maxie Weisz matched a season-high 34 saves to anchor the team defensively.
