Eight Players Earned ECAC Hockey All-Academic Honors

Sept. 14: Eight members of the 2010-11 St. Lawrence University women's hockey team earned ECAC Hockey All-Academic honors last season.

Saints Have 40 Alumnae Set to Return for Clarkson Game

Sept. 27: An updated total of 40 alumnae have confirmed their plans to parttake in the 2011 Alumnae Weekend.  Due to the outstanding response, two games will be played on Saturday, October 1, including an alumnae game featuring only former St. Lawrence players, followed by an alumnae game against Clarkson University, scheduled for Saturday, October 1.

2011-12: Hon played in 37 games in her first season at St. Lawrence, totaling nine points on five goals and four assists.  The Fullerton, CA native scored the opening goal in the ECAC Hockey championship game victory against Cornell, as well as the game-winning tally at Princeton.

Hon served as the team captain for the 2010-2011 season at the North American Hockey Academy and was part of the 2011 JWHL Championship team.  Jessica had an impressive 18 goals and 30 assists during her senior campaign at NAHA.  The Fullerton, CA native was born on July 8, 1993 and is the daughter of Frank and Veronica Hon.

Jacqueline Wand '15

2011-12: Wand added more speed to the Saints' offense in her rookie season.  The Cary, IL native had goals against New Hampshire, Colgate and Cornell during the regular season and chipped in an assist against Harvard.

Pre-St. Lawrence

Wand was an All-State and All-Conference player in Illinois, where her team finished second in the nation in 2009.  The Cary, IL native, who played for the Chicago Mission, was also a national camp attendee, was a stand-out track and field athlete, and earned High Honor Roll status each of her four years in high school.  Born April 22, 1993, Jacqueline is the daughter of Bob and Penny Wand.

2011-12: McAuliffe played in 38 games as a rookie defenseman and had assists against Clarkson and Yale in the regular season.

Pre-St. Lawrence

A Provincial bronze medalist with Team Ontario in 2010, McAuliffe finished with three goals and 17 assists last season.  A Prospects Elite Hockey Tournament invitee each of the last five years, the Odessa, ON native was a Prospects All-Star and academically, earned her way onto her high school's Honor Roll.  Born November 29, 1993, Jessa is the daughter of Chris McAuliffe and Melinda Scott-McAuliffe.

2011-12: MacDonald had a brilliant first season for St. Lawrence, earning ECAC Hockey Tournament MVP honors after dazzling performances in the post-season.  She finished with a .929 save percentage and a 1.99 goals against average, earning All-Rookie honors.  Carmen posted six shutouts, had nine games with 30+ saves, and had a .958 save percentage in the ECAC Hockey playoffs.

MacDonald was a part of the 2010 and 2011 New England champions at the Westminster School.  The Pictou, NS native, who was also a field hockey and softball player, was also a member of the 2010 Hockey Canada U-18 World Championship winning team.  Born December 4, 1992, Carmen is the daughter of Allan and Kelly MacDonald.

2011-12: Williams picked up 11 points (6g,5a) in 36 games as a rookie including a game-winning goal against Clarkson.  The Pryor, OK native, who was an ECAC Hockey All-Academic team member, also had a goal in the NCAA Tournament game versus Boston College and a two-goal outing against Mercyhurst.

Williams, a captain of the Shattuck - St. Mary's Sabres, helped her team to back-to-back Minnesota State Championships in 2010 and 2011, as well as National Championship in 2011. A native of Pryor, OK, she attended the National Hockey Camp, and was on the honor roll throughout her high school career. Born August 24, 1992, Ellie is the daughter of Charley and JoEllen Williams.

Amanda Boulier '15

2011-12: Boulier was an outstanding addition at the blue line for St. Lawrence in her rookie year, totaling 20 points (4g,16a) while serving as a sound defender.  She had the game-winning goal against Boston College in the regular season, as three of her goals came on the power play.  Boulier's play, which included four multi-point games, landed her on ECAC Hockey's All-Rookie squad.

Pre-St. Lawrence

Captaining both the Westminster and Connecticut Polar Bears 19U teams, Boulier played in 24 games last season, scoring 12 goals, adding 10 assists and helping her team to a 2010-11 New England Championship.  She earned MVP honors in 2010.  A Watertown, CT native, Boulier was selected to be a part of the 2011 U-18 US National Team.  Born March 30, 1993, Amanda is the daughter of Liz and Pete Boulier.
