Caligiore Leads Saints To 4th at Amherst

First year Aimee Caligiore shot rounds of 85 and 81 to finish 13th and sophomore Melissa Snizek had a big second round as St. Lawrence University's women's golf team moved up one spot after day one to finish fourth in the Jack Leaman Women's Championship hosted by Amherst College on Sunday.

Saints Open Spring Play with 5th Place Finish at Vassar

St. Lawrence University's women's golf team finished fifth in its first outing of the spring 2010 season, placing in the middle of the field at the 11-team Vassar College Invitational.

2011-12:Kerrin did not play as a junior while concentrating on academics, but returns to the squad for her senior season.

2010-11: Kerrin had a 91.1 stroke average in 16 rounds during her first full collegiate season. She twice matched her collegiate low score with 84s and had a two-round best score of 173, also matching her collegiate best.

2009-10: Kerrin Ehrensbeck was a midfielder on the St. Lawrence women's soccer team in the fall of 2009, but joined the golf team in the spring season, finishing strong with a collegiate low of 84 and a two-round total of 173 in the Williams Invitational to end the spring season. She had a 92.6 stroke average in six collegiate rounds.

Ehrensbeck was a standout in soccer, softball, alpine skiing and golf. She was captain of the boys golf team for three seasons and was a League All-Star as a senior. Ehrensbeck was a two-time all league softball player, a four-year captain in alpine skiing and was selected for the New York State Eastern Alpine team in her junior year and was Section 3 Combined Champion as a senior. She was a member of the National Honor Society, president of the Student Council and president of the Varsity Club.

Mittiga Named Course Manager, Assistant Coach

Frank Mittiga, who has been PGA Pro and course manager at the Potsdam Town and Country Club for the last six years, has been named manager of the St. Lawrence University Golf Course and assistant golf coach for the Saint men's and women's golf teams.

Muzzatti Leads Saints in Final Fall Tourney

 

St. Lawrence University's women's golf team concluded the fall portion of its season with a third place finish in round one of the Williams Invitational on Sunday.
