Sept. 18: The St. Lawrence University field hockey team suffered a 3-1 loss on Saturday afternoon in Geneva, NY against nationally-ranked #17 Franklin & Marshall. 

Laframboise Lifts Saints Past Hawks in Overtime

Sept. 11: The diving stick of senior Michelle Laframboise just 2:00 into overtime gave the St. Lawrence Saints field hockey team a 2-1 victory over the Hartwick College Hawks in overtime.

Swits, Maloney Pace Saints Past Utica, 5-1

Sept. 5: The St. Lawrence University field hockey team picked up its first win of the season on Sunday afternoon, as the Saints used a four-goal first half en route to a 5-1 victory against Utica College at North Country Field.  Junior Erika Swits scored a pair of goals while senior Brooke Maloney added a goal and an assist.

Red Dragons Spoil Saints’ Season Opener in Overtime

Sept. 4: Oneonta State spoiled the St. Lawrence University field hockey team's debut at the newly-renovated North Country Field on Saturday afternoon, as Ainsley Stoll's second goal of the game in overtime gave the Red Dragons a 3-2 victory in the 2010 season opener for each team.

2012: Kate ran her consecutive games streak to 49 as she started all 16 for the Saints as a junior. She scored her first collegiate goal against Manhattanville and had two assists. She assisted on the game winning goal against Vassar.

2011: Higgins started in 17 games at midfield in her sophomore season, recording an assist for the Saints.  

2010:  Higgins had a solid rookie season for the Saints as she played in all 16 games this season.

Experienced Saints Geared Up for 2010 Campaign

Sept. 1: The St. Lawrence University field hockey team, which finished 12-5 last season, will once again be in the chase for a Liberty League championship in 2010 thanks to an experienced and talented roster.

2012: Nicole's junior season was impacted by illness and she was kept on the sidelines for the first five games of the season and then shared time with sophomore Brady Cooper.She made four starts in six games and had a 3.42 goals against average and a .806 save percentage with a 1-4-0 record.

2011: Matos had an outstanding sophomore season as she earned Liberty League First-Team All-Conference honors. The Greenwich, CT native led the league in saves (158) and saves per game (9.88), as she concluded the season with a 9-8 record and a .803 save percentage.  

2010:  Matos compiled a 3-9 record as she emerged as the Saints goalie in her rookie season.  The Greenwich, CT native logged 881:58 minutes in goal and had a 2.78 goals against average.

Matos was a dual-sport athlete, competing in Field Hockey and Ice Hockey.

2012: Emma started every game for the Saints for a second straight year and earned second team All Liberty League honros. ALso a member of the Liberty League All Academic team, she scored her first collegiate goal and it was the game winner at Morrisville. She also had five assists as part of the Saint penalty corner unit.

2011: Berry started in 17 games for the Saints in her sophomore season, recording three assists. A major in history and English, the New Hampton, NH native earned Liberty League All-Academic honors for her efforts in the classroom.  

2010:  Berry appeared in 12 games for the Saints in her rookie season.  The New Hampton, NH native earned National Academic Honors for her efforts in the classroom.

Berry participated in both Field Hockey and Lacrosse while earning a spot on the High Honor Roll. The New Hampton, NH native earned the field hockey team's MVP award as well as the "Coach's Award." A citation award recipient, Emma also captained the field hockey squad in her senior year.

: O'Neil saw action in seven games in her sophomore season with the Saints, and earned Liberty League All-Academic honors for her efforts in the classroom. 

2010:  O'Neil appeared in three games for the Saints in her rookie season.  The Essex Junction, VT native earned National Academic honors.

O'Neil was a dual-sport athlete, captaining both the Field Hockey and Lacrosse squads. A member of the National Honor Society and recipient of the Katie Currier Scholarship, Grace earned First Team All-Metro for field hockey and was a Twin State team member.
