2012: Chapin played in three games for the Saints as a sophomore. She earned Liberty League All Academic honors.


2011: Dwyer appeared in three games in her first season with the Saints and will compete for playing time as a defender next year.  

At Beverly
Dwyer played on the field hockey, basketball and lacrosse teams while earning a spot on the Honor Roll.  A member of the National Honor Society, she was named the field hockey team's "Defensive Player of the Year" in her senior campaign.

2012: Carly played in 13 games and started four. She had three goals, two of them coming in a 5-1 win over Morrisville. She missed two games with an ankle injury.

2011: Stine appeared in 16 games in her rookie season, starting in six. The South Burlington, VT native scored three goals for the Saints.

At South Burlington
Stine was a tri-sport athlete, competing on the field hockey and indoor and outdoor track and field teams.  The South Burlington, VT native was an All-State and Twin State field hockey selection and served as the track team's captain her senior season.  An Honor Roll student, Carly was also the recipient of the track team's Outstanding Athlete award in 2011.

2012: Courtney had her senior season curtailed by injury and was able to play in just five games for the Saints. She earned Liberty League All Academic honors.


2011:
Davis started in 17 games in her junior season with the Saints, recording a goal and two assists. The Guilderland, NY native, who is majoring in environmental studies, has earned Dean's List honors each year she has been at St. Lawrence. She is a member of the Nordic ski club and The Greenhouse.

 

 

Three Saints Earn Honors at 2011 Commencement

June 20: Three members of the St. Lawrence field hockey team graduated with honors at the University's Commencement ceremony.

Seven Saints Earn National Academic Honors

Mar. 10: Seven members of the 2010 St. Lawrence University field hockey team have earned SGI/NFHCA Division III National Academic honors, including four-time honorees Kelsey Berry, Caitlin Estes and Michelle Laframboise.

Saints Receive Academic Team Award

Feb. 23: The St. Lawrence University field hockey team has been honored by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association for their academic success for the 2010 fall semester.

Lorie MacKenzie

Lorie MacKenzie will continue to serve as the field hockey team's Faculty/Staff Mentor for 2012-2013.

MacKenzie is the University's Assistant Dean for Academic Administration. She is also the Director of the Summerterm at St. Lawrence and is teaching "Sitcomes in American Culture" for the First-Year Seminar alongside Dr. Valerie Lehr, University Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs.

In this seminar, students explore the ways American culture has been represented in popular television situation comedies from the 1950s through the present. They examine popular series from various decades, as well as the scholarly analysis of situation comedies, to explore how these comedic shows provide a window into each time period.

Four Saints Earn All-Conference Accolades

Nov. 5: Four members of the St. Lawrence University field hockey team have been awarded Liberty League All-Conference honors for their play during the 2010 season.

#10 Cortland State Shuts Out Saints in Season Finale

Oct. 27: The St. Lawrence University field hockey team concluded its 2010 season on Wednesday evening in Cortland, NY against the nationally-ranked #10 Red Dragons.  Led by a hat trick by Sara Woodward, the home team defeated the Saints 6-0 at the Stadium Complex.

Late Goal Lifts Union Past Saints, 2-1

Oct. 24: Union's Nicole Merigliano broke a 1-1 tie midway through the second half with her first collegiate goal, lifting the Dutchwomen's field hockey team past St. Lawrence by the score of 2-1 on a rainy afternoon at Hall-Leet Stadium in Canton, NY.
