Lyndsay LaBarge

Lyndsay LaBarge, the Assistant Director of Admissions, will serve as the women's cross country team's Faculty/Staff Mentor for the 2012-13 season.

Recruitment Areas
Alaska, Connecticut, Washington, D.C., Delaware, Idaho, Maryland, Montana, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, and Washington. Within New York State I recruit in the following counties: Dutchess, Orange, Putman, Rockland, and Westchester.

Office Responsibilities
I travel extensively for recruitment throughout my territories. When I am not interviewing students, and reviewing applications, I am the coordinator for our summer internship program and our Leadership Scholarship. In addition, I am a co-coordinator of our senior admissions fellowship program. Along with coordinating the social media program for the admissions office.

While in College...
I graduated from St. Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a double minor in African Studies and Education. On campus I was an Admissions Ambassador, an Admissions Intern, an Orientation Leader, a sister of Kappa Delta Sigma Sorority, and studied abroad on the Kenya Semester Program.

Martin, Saints Win Hoffmann Invitational Championships

Oct. 6: Ella Martin led from start to finish for her first collegiate cross country win and St. Lawrence University's women's cross country team placed all five of its scorers in the top ten to add the team title in the 21st annual Ronald C. Hoffmann Invitational on the St. Lawrence campus Saturday.

MacDonald, Martin Lead Saints at Paul Short Invitational

Sept. 28: First Year Margaret MacDonald cracked the top 100 finishers, helping St. Lawrence University's women's cross country team to a 24th place finish in the 40-team, Division I dominated Women's Gold 6 K race at the Paul Short Cross Country races at Lehigh on Friday.

Martin Top DIII Finisher as Saints Finish 2nd at Rochester, Climb To 6th Nationally

Sept. 15: St. Lawrence University's women's cross country team placed all five of its scorers in the top 20 and finished second overall, first among Division III teams at the 2012 University of Rochester Invitational at Geneseo State Park on Saturday.

Rabideau Leads Saint Pack in North Country 5 Invitational

Sept. 12: St. Lawrence University sophomore Anna Rabideau led from gun to finish to take individual honors in the 2012 North Country 5 Invitational on the Ronald C. Hoffmann 5,000 meter cross country course at St. Lawrence Wednesday afternoon.

Saints Nearly Perfect in Win at Cardinal Classic

Sept. 8: St. Lawrence University’s women’s cross country team was just two points away from perfection and a pair of newcomers made impressive debuts as the Saints won the Plattsburgh Cardinal Classic Cross Country Invitational on Saturday to open the 2012 season.

2012: Jenny had a top finish of third in the 5K North Country Five race for the Saints. She ran in five races in her rookie season and was 24th in her first collegiate race at Plattsburgh. SHe was 76th in the Liberty League Championship and 92nd in the NYSCTC meet.

Jenny played volleyball, basketball and ran cross country and track at Sandpoint High School, earning scholar-athlete awards. She was a honor roll student.

2012: While she missed out on her first opportunity to run in the NCAAChampionships due to an injury flare-up, Margaret had a tremendous rookie season for the Saints and was a consistent scorer throughout her first season of intercollegiate competition. She won her first intercollegiate race, the Plattsburgh Invitational and had four top ten finishes during the season. She was first-team All Liberty League with a fourth place finish, finished fifth in the NYSCTC Championship and was 15th in the NCAA Regional. She earned Liberty League Rookie of the Week honors twice.

Margaret had an outstanding high school career at Saratoga Springs, earning All-State, and Suburban Council All Star honors in addition to being part of a national championship relay team and a high school All America. She ran both cross country and track and field and was a high honor roll student.

Saints Enter 2012 Season with Lofty National, Regional Rankings

Aug 28: The success of St. Lawrence University's women's cross country team over the past few seasons is no secret...four straight NCAA Championship team appearances including a second place team finish in 2009, three consecutive NCAA Atlantic Regional championships, four straight New York State Collegiate Track Conference cross country titles and ten straight Liberty League championships...and while the Saints have graduated a number of top runners over the last three seasons, the program remains highly respected nationally.
